Update

Just in case you haven't figured out by now, but I'm not good at this blogging thing anymore. I focus more on updating Facebook. It's just so much easier! BUT, there have been so many new things that have happened since last year, I needed to update you!
First off, Maddie was baptized. BAPTIZED! I can't believe I have a child old enough to be baptized! Crazy!!!!

Then, in the end of February, I found out I was pregnant! 3 days later, I had a miscarriage. My first. It was a hard time for the whole family. I was really surprised at how hard it was for the kids, even. So, when I found out I was pregnant, again, a few weeks later, we decided to keep it a secret from everyone for as long as possible. We told Maddie and made her not tell anyone just in case something happened. Luckily, everything was going great by our 10 week appointment! Baby was due Oct. 26! Every night, the girls would pray that the baby wouldn't die. It was so sweet, but sad at the same time. 20 weeks into the pregnancy, we find out that it's a GIRL! Tommy was bummed, he wanted a brother, but a couple weeks later, he was getting excited!

At around 24 weeks along, I started bleeding. A little more than what the dr's say is normal, so I went to the hospital to get checked. The whole way there, I was experiencing sharp pains on the right side of my stomach. OUCH! We get to the hospital and they worry about a detached placenta, so I had an ultrasound done. During the ultrasound, the technician asked if I'd been having pains on my right side. I said yes and he said, "Well, that makes sense." He, of course, can't give me a diagnosis of what's wrong because that's the doctor's responsibility. He did say that it was common in most pregnancies. WELL, the doctor never came to tell me what was wrong. We asked the nurse and she said that I had damage to my kidneys due to the baby's moving around. GREAT! KIDNEY DAMAGE!!!

Luckily, we had a doctor appointment the next week, so he was able to clear the air. No kidney damage, but inflamed kidneys which makes it hard for urine to flow through, so then I get clogged kidneys, which causes the sharp pains. The cure: NOTHING! WELL, until I deliver. Fabulous! So, now I keep drinking a TON of water to attempt to keep flushing my kidneys and prevent clogging.
I have had to make many hospital trips because she decides to not move for hours on end, but then once I walk into the hospital, she wakes up and moves like crazy! She is one active little girl!

At 35 weeks, I found out that she is breech. If she doesn't turn by 37 weeks, I would need to try a manual turning, which could go well, or things could go bad and I would have to do an emergency c-section. LUCKILY, she turned the next week!
I keep having lots of contractions. They'll last for 2 hours. Stop. Come back for another 2 hours and then stop again. UGH!
I'm 39 weeks right now and have gone to the hospital twice because of contractions. I'm dilated to a 2 and 70-75% effaced.  This last visit, I was checked when I got there and was still a 2 and her head was down. 5 minutes later, the nurse comes back in saying that her heart rate was doing v-shaped patterns, called variables, which are not good at all. She says she wants to watch her longer. 30 minutes later, she says she's finally stabilizing, so she checks me to see if I had changed. Then, she says, "Well, that's weird!" She says she doesn't feel the head anymore, she feels fingers. She brings out the portable ultrasound and sure enough, she had turned AGAIN! She's now breech-transverse! We are now set for a manual turn. If they get her head down, they'll break my water and start me on petocin to induce me. If they can't get her head down, it's c-section! Update later!

It's been awhile!

Wow! I cant believe I haven't been on here for that long! Life sure does catch up to you! A lot has happened in that time, so I'll try to fill it in as much as possible.

This last April, we were able to go to California. My parents paid for the Disneyland tickets and for the extra activities that we did, we just had to pay to get there!

First, we went Easter egg hunting in the hotel's courtyard!

The kids had a blast!!!!
The next day, we went to Disneyland! This was Maddie's second time and Alyssa and Tommy's first! It was so amazing to see their faces light up with excitement!

We were in line for the Pirates of the Caribbean for SO long! TOmmy ended up falling asleep on my shoulder and slept through the WHOLE ride!!!

Tea Party fun!

The end of June was our Family Reunion, Tea Party, in Idaho! We love going, it's so much fun! This year's theme? FAIRIES AND PIRATES! So fun! The boys even had their own pirate lunch, swimming, and hunt for treasure!

Birthday Girl!

I can't believe that 3 years ago, last night, Alyssa came into our lives! We had a rough first year, with all of her health issues, but now she's a perfect, healthy, stinker of a 3 year old!
We went to Grandma and Grandpa Mauch's, last night, for a bbq birthday party! It was fun stuff!
Alyssa got lots of great presents. I only took one picture of her because my phone is retarded and doesn't have a long battery life!

Oh, BOY!!!

It has been such a long time since I've been on here! Craziness has happened! We moved into a house in the City Center part of Eagle Mountain...SO nice to have our own space and a BACKYARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! The girls needed it!

Thomas is over 6 months old now! These are his stats:

Weight: 15lbs 10oz (20%)

Height: 27 in. (75%)

Head: 42 in. (75%)

He's been wearing 12 month clothes for a month now and is wearing size 4 shoes!!!!!!!! My BIG boy!

I am still doing Scentsty and I love it! I love having a girls night out and getting paid for it! If you want to earn lots of free and half priced items, let me know and we'll plan your party! All you have to do is give me a list of people to invite and then you make treats! EASY!

Cody and I started doing Melaleuca! It's an amazing company! They sell safe cleaners, vitamins, make-up, and more! Cheaper and more value! We'd love to get you started on the fun!

I am wanting to start my own Cupcake business and call it "Sweet Mama's". I specialize in banana nut, vanilla, chocolate, red velvet and carrot, but have so many more that I want to try! I want to start off doing birthdays, parties, weddings, etc...so if you have anything coming up and don't want to worry about the cakes, give me a call/text/message!

Alyssa is now fully potty trained and we will be taking her to Chuck-e-Cheese soon to celebrate!

Maddie will be starting school this year...crazy!!!!!!!

New Year, New Changes!

Tommy's update!

Thomas Boy (Alyssa started calling him that and now it's stuck) is already 2 1/2 weeks old! Crazy how fast time flies! I took him to the dr on Friday and here are his stats:
Weight: 8 lbs. 13 oz. 53%
Length: 22 1/2 in. 96%
Head: 14.8 in. 59%

These were his birth stats:
Weight: 8 lbs. 1 oz. (although, we left the hospital and he was 7lbs 10 oz.)
Length: 20 in.

Introducing...

THOMAS EDWARD MAUCH!

Little Tommy was born October 8, 2010! He was 8 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long! Absolutely perfect! He looks just like his daddy!

I started having contractions Thursday morning at around 6:00. After 1 1/2 hours of steady contractions, we get our bags and go to the hospital. A couple hours later, I was sent home because the contractions weren't steady enough. I left the hospital dilated to a 3+. Later that night, at around 9:00, the contractions started up again, but A LOT stronger! We get to the hospital at 10:30, dilated to a 4+....I got to stay! I was given my epidural, which numbed my legs and down there, but I felt EVERY SINGLE contraction....they were coming every minute and they were powerful! He was finally born at 1:39 am, after 4 hours of labor(including the 1 hour of labor at home)!

He has one STRONG grip! He got a hold of my thumb, after being placed on me, and wouldn't let go! So precious!
