Easter!

Easter Sunday was pretty eventful with Blakely's birthday as well as General Conference. We started our morning by averting Blakely's eyes from her slide and straight to Easter baskets! They didn't get very much candy in their baskets. Instead they got swimming suits, towels, books, and bubbles. They got candy and money in plastic eggs hidden all around the bottom floor of the house. They always love hunting for eggs more than anything anyway!! Happy Easter!

We died eggs the Friday before so we could go to Nicki's on Saturday. I'm a dork and forgot to take pics until we see almost done.

Blakely is 2!!!

Happy 2nd birthday to my baby girl! Man, time flies! We had such a fun, relaxing Eater/Conference/Birthday with our kids (Don't mind our ghetto appearance for the day). Blakely didn't quite get the whole present thing, but Brynlie was more than happy to help out. We sure love this baby doll!

Fun Facts:

*Is talking more and more every day and frequently surprises us and makes us laugh!

*Is our messiest, into everything kid so far. We must have lucked out with the dee two.

*Has her two bottom 2 year molars

*Loooves her daddy and cries if he even gets out of the car to pump gas.

*Says, "Hold you!" To be held and yells it a lot from her crib when she's supposed to be napping!

*Loved LeeAnn more than anyone!

*Is obsessed with Wyatt and yells, "Wy Wy!" Whenever she sees him or if there's a knock on the door!

*Her latest trick is attempting to do somersaults, but she can't quite get over the top and falls sideways. 

*Is still a pretty picky eater, but we keep offering her new things.

*Has been resisting naps for about a month, but we still try every day. Sometimes we get lucky, but lots of times we lose the battle.

*Is beyond obsessed with Mickey and Minnie--still!

23 Months

What the...? Only one month away from her 2nd birthday? How is that possible? 

Little Miss Blakely:

*Has started saying a lot more words recently!

*Does not appreciate being in the car all day long--the drive home from Cali was rough!

*Is still beyond obsessed with Minnie Mouse, as well as "Barn Barn" (games on my phone), her B'n'B (what she calls her blanket and I have no clue how to spell it), fruit snacks, juice, candy, and baby wipes (aka wites)

*Has a nap only about half the time--stinker!

*Sleeps from 7:30-7:30 (pretty much)

*Loves to dance to music.

*Goes to Nursery pretty well these days.

*Calls every bald man she sees: daddy!

*Gets into way more mischief than my other two did--Vaseline, diaper rash ointment, the toilet....

*Loves to help wash her hair and body in the tub. 

*Is obsessed with "pretties." Hair bows, bracelets, earrings...

*Says: cereal and Ariel so cute! She sticks her tongue out and it makes the funniest sound.

*Nods about EVERYTHING you ask her, usually with raised eyebrows too! It's so cute!

*Is crazy about her daddy and cries when he leaves the room.

*Has such a fun personality! 

We love this crazy lady!!

22 Months

This silly baby is getting closer to 2 every day and it blows my mind!!

Fun Facts:

*Size 3 diapers

*Size 12-18/18-24 clothes

*Resists naps on a daily basis and actually only gets in a few a week.

*Sleeps 7:30--6:30/7:00

*Loves to play in the toilet. 😝

*Is more obsessed with Minnie Mouse every day! Screams, "Minnie" every time sees a stuffed animal, blanket, bib, her little couch, etc. I can't wait to see what she does at Disneyland!!

*Loves her Minnie dream light on at night and sits and squeals at it! 

*Gets so excited whenever daddy walks into the room and screams his name.

*Is saying more words all the time, but doesn't really string words together.

*Still loves to give kisses and will given them to nearly anyone who asks.

*Is obsessed with playing games on my phone and cries "Barn-Barn" whenever she sees my phone.

*Can chew gum without swallowing it. What the??

*Understands a lot and follows directions pretty well!

*Has gotten better about going to nursery.

*Actually likes me these days and doesn't cry when I pick her up from LeeAnn's.

*Runs to me yelling: Mommy! When I get home and she's been here with Matt.

*When I tell her to say something with 2 words "please mama" she only says the last word back.

*When we count she says, "Two!" After every number I say.

*Loves the ABC song and it will calm her down in a second and she says, "Gin-gin!"

*Is a pro at matching letters on "Endless Alphabet."

21 Months!

Baby girl is growing up too fast! I can hardly handle it! Here are a few fun facts:

*Size 3 diapers

*Size 12-18 and 18-24 clothes

*Size 3 shoes

*Takes 1 nap a day

*Is an early riser--usually between 6 and 7 (yawn!)

*Says lots of single words and occasionally puts words together the day after Christmas I asked if she was done in the tub and she said: Not done! No, no, no! That was her first sentence and she hasn't really said another one Besides: More please.

*Is obsessed with Minnie and had a very Minnie Mouse Chrismtmas!

*Loves bananas, milk, water, Cutie oranges, mandarin oranges, bread, grapes, apples, pineapple, ice cream, and candy!

*Has quite the sassy streak! This girl can give quite the crusty glare!

*Loves having her daddy home and wants him over me a lot of the time!

*Has lots of nicknames! Blakes, Blakers, Blay, Bay, Bay-Bay, Baymax, Zoopity, Zoop-Zoop

Family reunited after service member's surprise return

20 Months

This crazy daisy is 20 months already! That sounds way too close to 2, of you ask me!

*Has developed quite the attitude and yells, "NO!" at anyone and everything that looks at her, talks to her, or asks her a question. 

*However, she's super cute when she smiles and nods her head yes when she wants something!

*Got to be reunited with her daddy on Tuesday and was an instant "Daddy's girl!"

*Has been a pill about naps and sleeping past 6 a.m. lately. Grrrr......

*Is super picky about food. She'll eat something one day and throw it on the floor the next.

*Is a kissing fool! She loves to pucker up and will give a kiss to almost anyone who asks for one!

*Is obsessed with playing "Peekaboo Barn" on my phone and cries "Ba!" Anytime she sees my phone or iPad!

*Can say lots of things but doesn't actually talk that much unless I coax her.

*She understands a ton and can follow directions really well! 

*Shes obsessed with my mom and calls her "Ma!"

*She's also obsessed with all things Minnie Mouse! She usually calls her "Min" but occasionally calls her "Minnie."

*Has quite the mullet when her hair isn't pulled up into a hair do!

*Loves when I put a flower or bow in her hair! She gets so excited and touches it non-stop. It's so funny!

*Prefers anyone over me--most of the time.

*When I ask her where mama is she pats herself and says, "Mama." It makes me laugh!
