Grandma's Pinata Party PartII

Because Reagan dressed up as Santa for Halloween. Grandma had the best idea to put a different spin on Santa coming to visit.  This time it would be the parents turn to sit on Santa's lap. Grandma and Santa (Reagan) had something special for each person. 

Jim had been teasing my kids about having skid marks in their pants a lot lately so Reagan got the last laugh.

Santa handed him some  Sure Wipes, large money, and munchies for all the KSL time.

then said to him:

I understand lately that when your underwear makes it to the dirty clothes they have skid marks in them.  Here are some sure wipes to help you take care of that.

And I have heard from your daughter Reagan that you tease her far too much about her bodily functions when she is just an innocent little girl.

           

Kacy being single still--- got some spice and a romance book, to spice up her life and a hook. 
Santa said:

Here is a little device to help out with your stub and holding your pom poms. Also you need a little spice in your life.
The hook is for her one armed cheer leading performance she does. It is awesome!

Candice is notorious for being late.

               Santa handed her wings on a clock and he said:

“I heard you came to Thanksgiving an hour late.  Well, I know time flies by so please clip the wings off of this clock, and hopefully you will be able to organize your time. Your family loves to spend as much time as possible with you.

When Jim and I  were newlyweds I was band from eating Bean with Bacon Soup. The after math of eating it were far to toxic for him.  Well Santa provided him with a GAS mask and me a can of soup. The picture says it all.

Eric:    I hear you like to count beans–especially January through April. Since it is boring right now and you are experiencing some dead time, here are some beans to count until TAX SEASON! Here are some special glasses that may prevent blood shot eyes.

Santa told her: (While handing her a turkey baster and a pack of Kleenex) 

Ashley you are a choice mother. You are willing to stay home and take care of all dirty diapers and snotty noses.  I have for you the SSS special (super snot sucker)

Ryan Got Blue spray paint, yellow feathers, & toilet timer and Santa said:

“I hear you like to write your name on buildings and blue is your favorite color of paint. Here is a can to take back to California and you can join in the graffiti festivities. Be sure to not get caught!  I also hear you like to read and sit on the toilet for a long period of time.  Here is a toilet timer so it does not consume most of your time and you can help Ashley more

When Ryan was little boy he spray painted huge on the side of my parents white brick home his name with the Y backwards (because at the age you aren't smart enough to write someone else s name---he was busted and all the neighbors had a good laugh as the  drove by)  Santa gave him some paint and a wire brush ---possibly this time he will be smart enough  to write someone else s name instead.

Unfortunately Garrett was unable to attend so we all laughed at his expense. He spends all his time doing softball and leaves no time for dating. He got a little softball family. At least this way Grandma will get some grandchildren out of him.

Garrett, I hear you live, eat, and breathe softball.   I thought I would make you a softball family since you aren’t making your own. Here is a softball wife and kids.

Here Grandma thought she was so good to have something for all of us. She was however shocked that Santa had gotten one for her as well. You see my Mom has been in a few wrecks in her life  probably more than the average person.  It just so happened that shortly before this party she was involved in another accident.  Santa had taken 2 magnify glasses and jb welded them together to make the perfect glasses for Grandma to SEE much better in hopes to prevent any future accidents.

Then it was the kids favorite moment PINATA time.

Little did we know this would be our last Christmas Party with Grandma Barney.  Which makes it even more special than ever.  She was always so cute and polite.

This picture sums up the ending exhausted but yet so much fun. I am so grateful for my family and for the memories we share together. My kids will always have a special place in their heart for Grandma's pinata PARRTY! 

Grandma's Pinata Party Part 1.

I have decided to divide Grandma's Party in to 2 parts this time. (Otherwise it will be a picture overload.)
If you ask my kids what is their favorite thing about Christmas it would hands down be Grandma's Pinata Party.
Though they are always awesome this year had to be one of the very best and will go down in History!!
We had all the kids act out the Nativity which was fun for me. This is something I remember doing with all of my cousins. Only we wore our dad's bathrobes and put towels on our heads. Grandma's costumes were a little more Legit this time around.

Anthony was the one who surprised us all with his acting skills and his not so shy attitude. He brought a smile to everyone's face as he sang praises and hallelujahs . It was wonderful to act it out and feel the true spirit of the Holidays.

Kacy is Awesome!

I have to post these awesome pictures of Kacy .(She had just gotten done feeding all the animals Jjim and I were gone with Brylee to a softball tournament.)
She is always so willing to come and not only  fill my shoes but Jim's as well. She takes care of the kids , drives them to all there extra activities. Feeds them, cleans the house and takes care of all the animals in freezing conditions. That means bucketing water to all the animals. She is greatly appreciated. The kids love having her and  so do their friends.

She always keeps things entertaining and brings a smile to our faces!

7th Grade Dance

Brylee's first school dance in 7th grade was something she was as s super excited for.
At first she had planned on wearing a dress and then when it came right down to it, she changed her mind. I offered to drive the girls to school , it was a chilly morning and people I am not gonna lie it was early so I was still in my bathrobe. My teenager rolled her eyes at me with embarrassment as I quickly snapped at picture of her and her bestie Ryenne.

PUPPIES

Here we are again having puppies in the winter. Every time we do we say we never are going to this again. Ya I guess a year is long enough o make us forget or it is the payday when they all sell and the $$$$ makes us think it is worth the hassle. We always have to bottle feed a few of them and they wake up and cry every 2 hours like an infant. Of course Jim doesn't hear them and so I am getting up to do it. (Mother Mode I guess) . Then we always think it is too cold out side and they end up in one of the bathrooms. Mom and puupies. In time it makes my house stink. Maybe if I blog this we will remember NO WINTER PUPPIES no matter how much they sale for!!

IT IS OFFICIAL WE HAVE A TEENAGER!!

Whenever I ask my kids what cake they want this is it. Nothing Fancy nor store bought. They love the rainbow chip frosting. (Since I am so behind on my blog my kids are so sad that they stopped making it :( we will have to find something new darn it!)

Brylee was a nice big sister and let the little kids help her unwrap her gifts. We are truly grateful for who she is and what she will become someday. Lets hope we can make it through her teenage years.

Christmas in Nauvoo!

In our new ward our first calling was to be in charge of their Christmas in Nauvoo.  They have a big Christmas celebration every couple of years. I was pretty nervous to do this for we didn't know hardly anyone and what they were capable of. Each auxiliary was in charge of a different station.

The Primary was in charge of the Post office. This is where members of the Ward stopped in and wrote letters to our ward's missionaries.

The Museum--- we had many people donate there antiques to display at the museum.

The Red Brick store was where everyone brought donations and could get some pioneer clothes to wear if they needed some.

I was very impressed with our new ward everyone went above and beyond in their stations!
