Welcome Home!

It was so exciting to be back home. My family had a welcome home BBQ. It was so good to see them all and to play with the kids again.

HOME!

I am finally home, you would think being in Hawaii you wouldn't be too excited about leaving, trust me i couldn't wait to see my family. However, I do already miss Hawaii. Wow what i great place to live and the experience was a experience of a life time. Unfortunately i will not be going back because they do not have what i need there, i plan to attended UVSC i the fall and hopefully apply to their nursing program. but i am so excited its summer and to be home!

Coming to hawaii I knew no one. I knew i was coming here and living with random people. honestly I expected the worst, I expected to have some roommate that either be just weren't the same or that she wouldn't know much english. I got nothing close to that, i got better. Someone that speaks very good english and at times too much, someone that i can relate to in every way. Meet Pollie! I gave her that nickname the first week i moved in and its just stuck, don't ask where it came from but she is known by Pollie by just about the whole school. She is honestly such a great blessing in my life. She has been one of the greatest friends. I really feel like were sisters, we fight like sisters, laugh like sisters, cry like sisters, make fun of each other like sisters and care for each other like sisters. I know that heavenly father put her in my life at this time for a reason. she is such a great example to me of a true friend. I love her and will miss her so much when i go home.

A break from the salt water!

Who would have guessed that Hawaii had a waterpark? Well its nothing compared to Utahs waterparks but it was so much fun and a nice break from the sandy beaches and salt water that gets in your eyes and mouth(which i really do love). The EXS club planned a activity which ended up being a bunch of our close friends that went which made it fun!

My fun wasn't over when toss and Trevor left. Megan came to visit which was so much fun. I got to do everything over again and ever more things.

SHARKS

While Toss was here her number one thing on her list to do was to swim with sharks. I wasn't to up for it at first because i thought we would just have to pay a bunch of money and maybe see a couple of sharks... woohoo. Oh but am i sure glad i did. While taking a boat 4 miles out from shore we were able to watch whales. It was so neat they were so close and there were so many of them. once we got out 3 miles they put Toss, Pollie(my roommate) and I in the cage first. I was so freaked out, once i was in it took me about five minutes just to look under the water cause i was too scared of what was down there. There was probably over 20 sharks surrounding us. We stayed out there for about 45 mins. then got back onto the boat which made us all very sick. We spent the rest of the day sea sick but it was well worth it! This is something i would have to advise everyone to try.
