Feeding the ducks

We finished out Spring Break by feeding the ducks.  It was cold, but Titus couldn't get enough.  This kid loves animals.

We finally got around to opening a savings account for Titus... better late than never, right?  He enjoyed his time at the bank.

A True Texan

It may have taken Louis 33 year and me 30 years to get to the Rodeo, but Titus is wasting no time!  We went to the Livestock show with friends and he LOVED it!  His absolute favorite part was petting the animals and riding the tractors.  When he was in the petting zoo he would pet one animal yell "more, more!" and then run to the next.  It didn't even phase him when he was knocked down or plowed over by goats and llamas.  He also loved being around his sweet friend Landri and Rilynn!

Titus didn't want to ride a horse on the carousel but he liked sitting and going around.

A Celebration of Life

Today we celebrate life. Four years ago today I was told I had cancer and needed to start chemo immediately, chemo that would more than likely keep me from ever having kids. Thankful today for all of you that helped us through what seemed to be an impossible situation at times and beyond grateful for my health and for my sweet baby boy!

Where else would be celebrate?  Chocolate peanut butter cup for everyone!

Happy Birthday to me

I entered the 30 club today.  Really I felt like I already had since we had celebrated my birthday earlier in January.  My sweet students made my day by each decorate a balloon and my room mom putting them into a little bouquet and another sweet parent brought me lunch (it seems silly, but we teachers LOVE it).  I also got the cutest card ever from a little girl in Kristy's class, her brother is my room so I talked to her when I visit Kristy.  When I got her card it made me miss teaching the little ones just a tad!  My wonderful partner had also brought a cake last week since some of our team was in meetings today.  I love the school that I work at, it is impossible to not feel loved!
