oh me...

Just apologizing for all of the writing errors in the last couple of posts I posted, the not so strong pain meds must have affected me more than I realized!

Just recently a couple of things I want to remember the boys saying are: Kep was going to play over at his Nana'a and was wondering if I was going anywhere. I told him "I going to be right here hun". Kep says, "I'm not your hun, daddy is" - in other words, don't call him that! (I usually don't use the word hun, but so glad it came out!!!
It was Dax's turn the bring the class stuffed animal home this weekend (a frog). (I am just so excited:/) Anyway, he said he could wear some pjs to sleep in and then sleep in his bed. If you know me, I am such a germ-a-phobe, so that won't happen.... Dax is talking to him and telling him about the lunch he is eating and then says "Mom, this is our cousin". Who knew we had a frog for a cousin! I could squeeze them with kisses!
In other news, I want to give God praise for a clean report from a MRI I had to have today. The craziest things have happened to me lately... So a very painful ear infection it was (still is). Thank you God for your mighty hand and your care over me. I know it could have really been bad. So grateful for the prayers lifted up for me today.

Family

Some of Kevin's extended family came to see his grandparents. We got a special treat, they brought guitars and sang some songs for us! I got to sing a little bit with them and loved it! The boys were in awe (sitting in the chair watching them play and sing).

MS leftover snow

Here in Alabama we got iced in and in Mississippi they got 6 inches of snow! Last weekend we visited Kevin's parents (for Kevin to get to duck hunt) and the snow was still there after 5 days! The boys had a ball playing in it on Saturday! They even found a ice skating rink!

The boys love to ride the 4-wheeler. This was taken in the woods beside our house with their daddy! I love my three boys!

Happy 6th Birthday Vivi!

Late Christmas dinner with my dad's side of the family and a little birthday happiness for Vivi Tate made for some fun with the family last week!

Christmas Decorating!

Just an update...Maybe you noticed my "advertisement" for Christmas Decorating! Or maybe you didn't! BUT, it was great! I had three houses that I decorated for Christmas and I absolutely loved it, loved it! Hoping to pick up a few more next year!

Christmas 2010

Snow on Christmas Day! Not much at all but we still got to see it! This Christmas was a little different from past Christmas', a trip to the ER with Dax, Dax with the flu and Kep on antibiotics. They were great sports for the day/morning. So sweet and excited to see what Santa brought for them.


JoJo and Pop's house for Christmas with all 10 grandchildren. Fun! We love spending this special weekend with all of our family.

Kepler and Dax had their first Christmas programs this year. I am so thankful to have such a great childrens program at our church and at their pre-school. Learning about Jesus and hearing the sweet questions about Him from them is truly the most precious things in life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son! Christmas is about the Christmas plays, family, sharing time with friends, gifts, but the most important thing they are learning is that it is about HIM!

on Santa's lap. They weren't really excited or scared to meet Santa, just sort of like another thing Mom makes them do... They were cute though letting him know just what they wanted from him! Santa had to make a couple of extra purchases after hearing their wishes! Dax asked him for a "skateboard" and Kepler wanted a "starwars robot".
