We went to the Crescent City, CA area at the end of April/beginning of May. It was stormy and cold but we had a good time together. We stayed in a little cottage on the ocean right by a lighthouse. We did lots of driving and had lots of adventures together. We almost got stuck in a bunch of river rock (really it wouldn't be a vacation for us if we didn't almost get stuck somewhere). We saw wild burros on the way home. I never thought I would be scared of a donkey but they were making angry sounds at us so we ran back to the car. We saw lots of wildlife, met some nice people, went to some cool little shops, had good food, flew a kite, got the kite stuck in a tree but Kellen artfully retrieved it for me, Kellen tried to fish but didn't have any luck, toured the lighthouse, walked on the beach, walked in the redwoods, looked in the tidepools, laughed at the seagulls, saw some ocean kitties and yelled at the dogs chasing them, and saw lots of gorgeous country.
