Happy Anniversary!

We celebrated our anniversary on June 18. I can't believe it has been 11 years. It is kinda funny because we were traveling to California for a family reunion to spend 5 days with all of my siblings and their families. We got a phone call from Jon's mom in PA and she said she called to wish us a happy anniversary. I said "me'. She said isn't today your anniversary. I then realized she was right. We both were laughing because neither of us remembered. We spent our special day traveling to Cali. So thanks mom for the reminder. I just want Jon to know how much I love him. He is the best dad, husband and friend. I am so lucky to have found him. I love you , Honey. Happy Anniversary!

We went to my parent's house and Grandpa was nice enough to get the motorcycle out and give the kids rides. Thank you dad for the fun time.

And the training wheels came off......

He's off!

Canyon decided he didn't want training wheels on his motorcycle (bike) anymore. We went to the park at about 7pm and at 7:10 he was riding on his own. I couldn't believe it. We are so proud of you Canyon. Good job buddy.

We had a family reunion last week. I am not much for camping especially the kind where there is no water or electricity. We decided to go for one night (that way we could shower that morning and go home the next day). We ended up having alot of fun. I love that my girls can be such girly girls but don't mind getting dirty and having fun.

Zoo Adventure!

I work at a preschool and a little girl from Canyon's class invited him to her birthday party. Actually it was at a zoo and all of my kids were invited. I had to work so Jon took Bailee,Canyon, and Siena. Siena was afraid but the others had a great time.

Bailee's music recital!

Bailee just finished her first year in the "Let's Play Music" program. She has had tons of fun.

She has learned how to play a few songs with her tone bells.

She can also sing songs and hit the notes exactly how she should. Good job Bailee Kay! She will continue with this in the fall.

Konnor got his hair cut!

Valley of Fire!

Last week we took the kids to one of their favorite places. We had a picnic lunch and fed the friendly chipmunks. I think they get fed alot because they come really close to people. We hiked to mouses tank and let the kids run and climb. We love the red rocks. Where else could you spend the day in the sunshine without a coat in the middle of winter. That's what I love about Nevada..

Do not try this at home!!!

Do not try this at home. These stunts are performed by trained individuals. Well not really but this is what we found our kids doing the other day. I told them it was not safe because someone could get hurt and came back to check on them and found they had put a bicycle helmet on Canyon. We had to laugh and take some pictures before telling them not to hoist real people up the tree with a 9 year old tying the knots. They usually do some creative things but this is by far the most dangerous. I hope they had fun while it lasted.

Sooooo.... tired!

I found SiSi sleeping half way standing up. It was so funny because her leg would start to fall of the chair and she would keep lifting it back up while she slept. I finally felt bad and put her up on the chair to finish her nap. I love when kids fall asleep in silly positions.

A typical friday night...

My kids love to watch movies and eat popcorn on friday nights so that is what we do. It seemes like Si Si enjoys making messes with everything. I gave her a small bowl of popcorn and this is what happened. She also likes to climb up everything she can. It is kinda funny because now she say Mom you know what I feel like a monkey. It always makes me laugh because she acts like one too.

Veteran's Day Parade!

We were in the Veterans Day parade with the Preshool I help teach at. Canyon is on the float and Siena is laying on my shoulder (yes I carried her the whole way). She is afraid of loud noises and we had the fire trucks right behind us. Konnor and Bailee were recruited into passing out candy. This is the only picture I got. I was preoccupied with other things so my friend was nice enough to get a picture. It is a fun tradition.
