We hand so much fun at Grandpa and Grandma Eborn's house for Christmas! Alayna loved opening her presents. This kitchen cart from Grandpa and Grandma is her favorite.

I walked into the living room the other day and couldn't find Alayna. I about had a heart attack. This is where she was with the cooling facing the other way. 
This morning when we woke up, Alayna and I shoveled the four inches of new snow off the driveway. She used the dustpan because the shovel was to big.
Then, we made some candy cane Kiss cookies for Daddy because it was a blizzard outside.

Every Saturday morning at our house, Ben makes pancakes. Sometimes they are a little scary. This time he made green eggnog pancakes with red sprinkles. Alayna was too afraid of them to attempt a bite. They look a little like they would be on How the Grinch Stole Christmas as part of the Who feast. I admit it, they just don't taste the same when they are green! 
We went to Bear Lake for Thanksgiving. We had so much fun at Grandpa and Grandma's house. It was nice to have a whole week off of school which made it even better. I love the holidays at my parents house. It's always so cozy and welcoming. The food was scrumptious, too.
Alayna had fun playing with her cousin, Grace, in their pretty dresses ; she also had fun playing with her other cousins. She didn't want to come home and just play with boring Mom and Dad after a week at Grandma's.
This is Grandma's village. I love it! I look forward to seeing it every year and how much it changes. Alayna loved it when Grandpa showed her the flying Santa and reindeer.
Alayna went for a ride on the tractor with Grandpa and honked the horn all the way across the farm. Every time we see a cow when we're driving she asks if it's Grandpa's. 
We went to Bear Lake last weekend and got Christmas trees with Grandpa, Grandma, and Dillon. It was so fun and easy because there wasn't any snow, and no one got lost.

She loved decorating it with snow, but even more, she loves "un"decorating it.
Whala! The end product, except for the star. We still need to make one. It smells so good!
Every year we make tons of snowflake to frame the windows in the house. We're so excited for the holidays. Alayna still has all of her hair and fingers after trying to use the kitchen shears to make them. It was a little scary.
If we can't have snow outside, we'll have it inside. It stays much warmer this way.
Alayna loves to dress up in any thing and everything, especially in Ben's work goggles. She puts them on every night when he comes home from work.
. . . And in his gloves and hat. She was a little mixed up and put his gloves on her feet. They made her look like an ape.
Another day of dress up. If I can't find my socks, I usually know who stole them. I'm sure she'll be plenty warm in two hats. We need to princess stuff for Christmas.
