My cute little man

So I haven't really tried to take a good picture of Dallin to put on the wall for a year now, so I figured since he just turned two, it was probably time to take some more pictures. I debated on whether I should take him to a portrait studio, but I thought I would try to take some myself first to see how they turned out. I think they turned out pretty good, I just took them in front of our front door.This one is a bit blurry but I LOVE his face.He had this thing about squinting his eye a lot when he was trying to smile. It was cute.This was one of the first pictures I took when I was telling him to smile. It was funny because I have several pictures where I was showing him how to smile and he was trying and they looked like this.Another smiling attempt :) Too cute!

Bear Lake

Yesterday we went to Bear Lake for the day and it was a lot of fun just playing on the beach. Dallin loved playing in the sand and going out in the water. We all did! Kyle and Dallin playing in the sand.It was fun to have a lot of family there too. Nana, Kathleen and Brent and Jill and their family.

I couldn't believe Dallin loved being in the water so much. It definitely wasn't warm water!

Dallin loved riding in the inflatable boats too.

Bubble Mower

Dallin got a little bubble mower for his birthday and he thinks its a lot of fun. He usually pushes it enough to get quite a few bubbles out and then he'll go and stomp on them. I thought this was really funny when Kyle was mowing the lawn and Dallin went and got his bubble mower out to mow along with Daddy.

Summertime

So here are a bunch of random pictures taken throughout the Summer. A lot of them are off of Kyle's phone. Here is my favorite:Wearing my oven mitts. These last few pictures are of a lightning storm I took a few weeks ago. I've never taken pictures of lightning before so I wanted to try it out. They don't look professional by any means, but you can get the idea of how electric the sky was that night. It was awesome.

Boating

I can't go a Summer without heading out to the reservoir (even if I am a prego:) Dallin and I went with my little brother and my dad to go for a boat ride, swim, tube, and just enjoy the beautiful weather. It was a perfect day. It was the middle of the week so there weren't very many boats around at all. I'm thankful that my Dad was able to take us. We had a lot of fun.
Last year when we took Dallin boating he didn't really like it very much, but this time around he had a lot of fun. (don't mind the scowl on his face in this picture- its from the bright sun- because he really was enjoying himself :)Don't worry, I made my Dad go really slow when he was pulling us around since we were a two-year-old and a pregnant woman riding the tubeDallin and my little brother Blake riding the tube.I love how you can only see his from his eyes up- that's how he rode most of the timeThe neatest part of all was when we were about ready to be done for the day, Blake wanted to take a swim. Dallin thought it looked like fun so he practically jumped in by himself. I thought he would have been more scared of the water. I was really happy that he wanted to go swimming. He was smiling the entire time even though the water was freezing!
