Christmas Morning

 We got up about 7:30am.  My kids don't get up early on Christmas Morning, we like that!!

Christmas Eve Night

 Opening presents!  This year Darce and Tara joined us for Christmas Eve, 1st time ever and that was fun!  We had an amazing dinner,  exchanged gifts with them and had marshmallow wars with the kids new marshmallow guns that grandpa made for them!!

 Darce and Tara gave my parents this cool painting, it was an amazing story behind it!

It is called Nativity and it is by Brian Kershisnik.

 My parents go my kids these cute jammies that they opened on Christmas Eve!  They all looked so cute in them!

Every year we read the Christmas story from the scriptures and sing songs.  After that we end by singing patriotic songs and opera!

Christmas With The Nells

Friday we headed down to Salt Lake to spend some time with James' family!  It is always a good time when we all get together!!  Friday night we played games and laughed a lot!  Saturday morning we all go up had breakfast and then did presents! 

 The kids were so excited to open their presents...it is always so fun to watch them!

 Kaizley loved running around - she always keeps us laughing!

 Kaizley got this baby doll from aunt Margaret and she loves it!  The baby laughs and shakes and every time it would laugh and shake Kaizley would love with it...so funny!!

 All Kambree wanted for Christmas was an American Doll..her three aunts decided to get it for her!  She couldn't have been more happy!  Her face lite up when she opened the box!  It was priceless! Kaizley also loves the doll, she threw her doll across the room and tried to take Kambrees!

 The rest of the relatives showed up and more presents got unwrapped!  It was crazy and so much fun!

 Howard and James were playing with Kyrons new helicopter that uncle Norval and aunt Barbara gave him. he hasn't even played with it yet!

Kyron got some books!  Here he is reading to all of us!!

It was a nice 2 days!!  Fun to be with everyone and as always we were all spoiled!

Gingerbread Houses

The Monday before Christmas we made gingerbread houses at Grandma and Grandpas!  The kids love making gingerbread houses!

While the kids worked on their houses with Grandma and me Grandpa helped play with Kaizley!

Concert

Last Sunday we had tickets to go hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing.  We took Kyron down with us.  This was his first time in the conference center!  The concert was wonderful and to my surprise Kyron really enjoyed himself!!

Christmas Reindeer

Kambree had her kindergarten Christmas program!  The sang about 12 songs!  It was very cute and Kambree new all the songs and actions!!

 They made these cute reindeer shirts to wear!!

Here comes Santa Clause

Hyde Park started a new tradition where they light a tree and then Santa comes in!  He drove up a fire truck...it was so cool!

Remember when 30 was old?

I do!  I can still remember thinking that people who were 30 were old!  But here I am 30!!  I don't feel old, I don't think I look old but yet I remember thinking that 30 was old!

I had a great birthday, James did well!  He surprised me with a fire kindle!  Totally unexpected!!  I love it!  It has been fun!  He also surprised me by getting a baby sitter and taking me to dinner!!  We went to a new restaurant in town call Kabuki.  Its a Japanese steak house and sushi! 

 These are really bad pictures, if I had known we were going somewhere cool I would have grabbed the camera!!  If you know me well you know that I am an American food kind of girl!!  But I actually liked this food.  I tried sushi and I did not like that, but everything else was fun!!

I have no real pictures from  the day of my birthday or the amazing cheesecake my mom made me!! But it was all so fun!!

Nutcracker

Grandma and Kambree had a special date on Saturday, they went to the Nutcracker!! Kambree was so excited, she dressed up in ballet clothes and had on her new special necklace that grandma gave her!!  When she got home I asked if she fell asleep...nope she loved it!  She did say that the man in his tights was pretty embarrassing, you could see his butt!  We all got a good laugh out of that.  Ever since she has been talking about the ballet and showing us the moves from it!!

A Day of Thanks!

 My mom had the best idea and that was to stick the kids out in her green house. It attached to the house so they were still right by us but we didn't have to listen to them!!  After Kambree go her food and went out there she said "I am so glad we are out here, we don't have to listen to the grown ups"

  

 

 We made these cute turkeys and acorns to decorate the table with!!  I think Kaizley ate most of the turkeys.  She cleaned up after everyone had left the table!

 Our desserts...a little excessive!  6 pies, brownies and cupcakes!!  Did you remember there were only 13 adults and 7 kids!

 The dinner spread...yep lots of food!  I have lots of left overs, at least I don't have to cook!
