Thanksgiving in San Dimas 2010

We really loved our visit with Cody, Tricia, Wesley and Roslyn in San Dimas.  Thanks for letting us come and enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with you guys!  Roslyn is so beautiful and Wesley was the best boy ever!  Oh, and we like seeing Cody and Tricia also.

This tree was huge.  We worked hard to get it in the trailer.  But the wood will be greatly appreciated all winter.

Lance and Melissa, do you remember standing by these falls on our trip to yellowstone in 2003?  This is by the golden gate on our way up to Mammoth.  Yes, another visit to Yellowstone.  We live so close, why not?

Palisades Reservoir and McCoy Creek

Janet is the Young Women's President in our ward and we went to girls camp all week with them.  I was an automatic assigned priesthood presence and totally enjoyed it!  It was held at China Beach near Alpine Wyoming, but still on the Idaho side of the border, at Palisades reservoir.  The girls all left Friday morning and so since we were so close with our camp trailer we decided to go to McCoy Creek straight across the reservoir from where we were.  Here are some pictures.

Our 1st Trailer Trip - Summer 2010

We went to Island Park at the Henry's Lake Outlet for our camp. Kit enjoyed fishing although the water was a little high. We rode our bikes 2 miles to Johnny Sack's cabin. Yellowstone was only 18 miles away, so we drove into the park and saw the baby buffalo and Old Faithful. Kit bought a Yellowstone fishing license and had fun catching fish there with an elkhair caddis. Saturday, we went to the Island park dinner-theatre show with the BYU-I 34th ward. That was really fun. Our trailer worked great, but the battery went dead too fast. We'll get that all straightened out before our Bear Lake Trip. We had a really fun time even though it got cold and rained on us. Oh ya, and we almost got eaten by a bear. Oh, that was scary.

During my spring break, Kit took his personal leave and he made me an organized closet. It is so nice to have things organized and more room. Thanks Kit!
