Ok - so Kacey and I decided to do this for fun at this website (we didn't specify gender) and apparently this is what our girl will look like if we ever have one????? I am just thinking from the photo...............................AINT GONNA HAPPEN. Dang I am glad we didn't do this before we had our boys! :p

4th Annual Lloyd Painter Family Reunion

Over Labor Day weekend we had our 4th Lloyd Painter reunion. I am not sure why we named it after him (he never comes :p)! We had many many many things planned and had a blast.

We decorated T-shirts, had a few Lasso Golf Tournaments, played Rhino Tag, made memory books, made B-Day cards for Elder Blake Andreasen, watched a movie outside from a projector on a sheet, dressed up, laughed a really lot and then laughed some more. We also started something new this year by having a family auction. My husband and I won (I guess you can call it that) the highest bill. For all of you who know my husband know that is not a hard thing for him to do! I am partially kidding because I bid on things too. I love you very much husband!!!

The highlight of my weekend though was dressing up and going to the E-Z Way with Lindsay, Mallory and Jenni!

We are still here.....

I haven't updated my blog for a real long time for a couple reasons - I am lazy and my mothers computer has been out of commission and we do not currently have one! So I will try to make up for all of that right now.

We have done some fun things this summer. At the beginning of June we had the Tim Crane Family Reunion. It was way fun! Kelli Lu did a fabulous job planning. We had a carnival, movie night, Minnetonka Cave, Bear Lake and church all in one weekend.

Blog Worthy.....

I have been pondering all day if this story is blog worthy or just plain gross. Kacey and I think it is pretty funny - my mother wasn't quite sure. I guess you can decide for yourself.
Last night Bridger was laying in his bed, Kacey was in our bed and I was on the couch feeding Landry. Bridger says "Mom, I think there is a buggar in my bed."
I asked "How did it get there?"
"I think a squirrel put it there."
"Bridger, tell the truth, how did it get there?"
"What does truth mean?"
"It means that you are telling me what really happened and not making up stories."
"Oh never mind, just leave me alone."
"Hey, please don't talk to me like that - and I really want to know the truth. Did you know that Heavenly Father always knows what the truth is and it makes him sad if you make up stories and lie."
"Oh, I think it was me - or maybe somebody else."
"Buddy - what really happened."
"It was me."
"Thank you for telling me the truth but please don't wipe your buggars on anything anymore."
"OK - Mom it's squishy."
"Dude that is disgusting and lets get a tissue and get rid of it."
I go to the bathroom and get a tissue and take it in to him. He looks around for a minute and says.
"It isn't here it must have been my imagination."

I know totally disgusting and I know you will all think twice about coming to our house for a sleepover. All I have to say is at least he doesn't eat them!!!!!!

Bowling Anyone.....

My big brother Brent thought it would be a good idea if the Painter clan - that came up for Landry's blessing - all go bowling at Geyser Bowl in Soda. So a whopping total of 18 of us piled in 4 cars and headed over yonder! Oh my what fun it was. The only person I scored higher than (other than the kids) was Jenni (sorry Jenni)! Wahoo for me. It was a blast to watch the kids bumper bowl and take turns. Their balls took about 40 minutes each to get to the pins - so patience was hard to come by! In the end I do believe that everyone had fun. Oh yeah, much to my surprise both of my brothers have their own bowling balls. I honestly wonder how often they have been used.
