Birthday Boy

We started off 12/12/12 with a little KSU per Jaxon’s request…

Bowling was a little chaotic and times but I think all the kids had fun.

Happy Birthday JAXON!  We love you!

The lord brought us such a blessing 5 years ago.  You have grown to be so independent of us.  You are a very hard worker and want to be the best at everything.  You are very passionate about football and love to play/ watch football.  You love animals and playing zoo at the house with your zoo or play animals.  You also love to play with Little People.  You have an imagination that is amazing.  You are very bull headed at times which leads to some interesting times but overall you are an excellent kid that minds very well.  You are also a great big brother.  You are always looking out for the younger two.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….

I am really into song titles lately…. =)!

Our house got transformed over the Thanksgiving Day weekend into a winter wonderland.  The boys had a great time helping me decorate or just playing with the stuff or should I say breaking the stuff.  lol!  We did add a new small tree this year for the kids to have their own.

The elf came that weekend too!  He is here to watch over the boys and give reports to Santa.  He brought new PJs for the boys.

The boys have been loving playing with their Little People Christmas collection.  They seriously spend 2 hours a day playing with all this stuff.  It is really cute to hear them be Santa.

Stand Up for the Champions

The KSU victory over UT won the Big 12 Championship for the Wildcats!  It was a chilly evening but the game was awesome.  That night will forever hold a spot in my best memories.  There was a point when Jump Around came blaring out over the loud speakers and the players went nuts on the side line and then the crowd went nuts.  It was so uncharacteristic for a Bill Snyder sideline.  It still gives me goose bumps to think about it!  Those are the moments that make college athletics so special.  Thanks for the ride this year Cats!!

Hospitals and Drs offices… enough!

I think everyday this week I was visiting with a doctor for the kids.  On Wednesday morning Jaden had his eye surgery for his blocked tear duct.  He got a stint place in his eye that will be replaced in 3-4 months.  He did great with the surgery but was a crab apple for most of the day which was understandable.  Poor little guy is only one and has already had 2 surgeries however we are thankful they have only been minor ones.  There is nothing like getting to see him in the recovery room.  I walked in and heard him screaming.  He immediately stopped crying when i picked him up… those are the best mommy moments.  Thanks Linda for driving up to watch Jace and take Jaxon to and from school!!!

On Thursday Jaxon had his tree nut allergy challenge test.  The test was supposed to take 4 hours but after the first 5 minutes of the first test the doctor told me they were not doing anymore because he is so allergic and not worth the health risk.

After 5 seconds to a dab of cashew butter.  Holy Moly!  

After 5 minutes he was covered in hives on his back and tummy.  I did not get a picture because I was a little panicked when the nurse came and and quickly left and then the doctor came flying in with the nurse (note: we were not supposed to see the doctor tell the very end).  They were able to give him medicines to get the reaction to stop.  I guess the good news is I did not have to entertain 3 kids in a small cub for 4 hours but the bad news is Jaxon is like me and has a bad tree nut allergy.  On the way home we picked up his EPI JR and some McDs ice cream.
