Happy Birthday Sweet Sweet Kamryn!!!!!

Well it already came and passed. Our sweet little Kamryn turned one. I can't believe how fast it came and went. We ended up throwing a great little party for her at Grandma and Grandpa Fosters. It was a great turn out. Even Nana and Grandpa Bird were there to celebrate. Every year my friends always complained that they were never invited to Chases birthday so I invited them and they all showed up to celebrate. It was so neat to see all of the little kids running around and playing. Next year we need to get a bounce house I think. Since Chase always gets the pool parties Kamryn can have the bouncy toys. Don't hold me to that though. Just remember I have a cheep husband. LOL. For her cake I ended up making Red Velvet cupcakes instead and Jaren barbecued. For a little girl February is the perfect month to have a birthday. There are so many decorations to choose from.

She made out like a bandit with adorable outfits and just as many fun toys, oh to be a kid again how much fun it would be.

Santa Santa He He He

Even though everything kept telling us no don't take Chase to see Santa Claus this year we ignored it and took the kids. I even asked Chase "do you want to see Santa?" He'd nod his head and say He, He, He instead of Ho Ho Ho. That is how Chase says Santa. So the time has come it was our turn and I am holding his hand as we are walking towards Santa. As Jaren places Kamryn on Santa's lap, just then Chase changes his mind and decides to make a run for it. The exit was blocked by people in line so instead he tried to jump the display fence and make a run for it. I was able to catch him and drag him to Santa where he sat on his lap and pouted. We did get him to look up once and catch that picture. It was over no crying and no screaming but just as I was going to pick him up off of Santa's lap Chase stuck his finger up his nose. The first time I have ever seen him do that and it had to be on santa. OMG that poor Santa. So as we walk away with things going better than we expected Chase saw some remote control cars he wanted to play with and thats when the screaming and crying kicked in and brought the looks of every holiday onlooker our direction as I drag him away. Oh joy to the world when you have a two year old. What happened to my sweet innocent little boy and when did he turn into a terror if he doesn't get his way. Don't get me wrong I am in love with that little man the way he smiles at me and pats me on the back when he is trying to make me feel better. He has one of the kindest of hearts. To my little man and may you grow up strong and healthy and look back at this and know why your mother has grey hairs. Ha

Thanksgiving 2009

Ok so it has been awhile since I have updated my blog. We are officially into the holiday season with only 14 days left till Christmas. And this week I was struck down by the flu. Ugh. So now I have a lot of catching up to do. Jaren has been gone a lot lately with his new work schedule. And we miss his terribly. Because of the time difference I don't get to talk to him much. It seems as if I only get to know what is going on with him on Face book. Bah humbug. Chase is definitely a two year old and is trying to learn independence. Unfortunately for him he is only two. Kamryn is an angel. I cant believe how blessed I am to have such a great girl. I have to make sure I spend time with her because she is so easy to overlook sometime when Chase is an attention hog. But for the most part he is a great kid too. He is so gentle with Kamryn and plays with her. He has such a kind heart. She had two fist fulls of his hair and he just screamed for help instead of knocking her over and hurting her. So I am at ease when they are playing knowing he wont get too rough. Thanksgiving this year went over great again I must say. And we were very blessed with having Jaren here for it and some great pictures. I would say I am looking forward to Christmas, but this will be the first Christmas without Jaren since we have been married. We knew it was coming one day, but is still sad to know that we will be one short this year when we wake up Christmas morning.

Kamryn 9 months

My baby girl is already nine months old and is crawling all over the place. It just seemed like yesterday that she was this tiny baby in my arms and now she just wants to go go go. She follows Chase around and mimicking things he does. I keep saying her Christmas present to us is going to be her walking. Lets hope not and keep her a baby a little more longer.

So I didn't get any good pictures of the kids trick or treating in there costumes so I decided to take some at home and I may have got carried away with photoshop, but it was sure fun.

Camping Trip October 2009

Well we did it, we decided to get in at least one camping trip in this year and hopefully before it got too cold. It was actually really nice up there. If the wind stopped it would have been perfect. I was really anxious on how my children would handle being away from home, especially Chase since he doesn't like change like his mother. But both exceeded mine and Jarens expectations. Chase rode his Power Wheels Quad everywhere it would make it and then some, and whom ever he could get to ride him around in his (really grandmas) mim mim (ATC 70). Kamryn was just content chilling in the trailer. I think it was too windy for her taste. I was really proud of Chase because he kept his beanie on his head the whole time. He is a child that refuses to wear a hat. And we tried to prepare him before the trip but didn't have much faith. But the cold won him over. Jaren got to take some more night pictures of the stars, playing with his camera. We didn't many animals. Lots of squirrels, poor squirrels it was hunting season for them. But we did see a bald eagle that as we drove down a back road it took off in front of Jarens mom and landed in a tree. It was HUGE and very beautiful. All in all it was a great trip and I can't wait to do it again with the children.
