FoUr MoNtHs!

I think I say this every month but I cannot believe how fast Asher is growing up! He turned four months old last Monday (so I'm a little late, but it was a busy week last week)! He is getting so big and started to act more like an infant, than a new baby. He had his doctor's appointment on Wednesday the 23rd and his doctor said that everything is going about the same, however he did say that he thought it would be a good idea if we took him down to Primary's to have some genetic testing done to see if he may have some sort of a syndrome since he has multiple things that are wrong (i.e. his heart condition, the mole on his foot, the hemangioma on his back, and the fact that his testicles still haven't descended.) He said if he does have one, maybe we can find out more about what others have done and what we can expect later. He also said that if he does that we might also be able to find the probability of other children we may have, having the same thing. But now on to the fun news, his stats: Weight 12lbs 11oz, and Height 24 1/2 inches.

Updates!

I forgot to put this in his 3 month post so I thought I'd better write it down before I forget.

• At three months he weighed 11 lbs even and was 23 1/2 inches long!
• He is really good at holding up his head, he thinks he pretty hott stuff when he does it
• Last week he was sleeping for 9 - 10 hours straight at night! (Not so much this week!)
• He is getting to be quite the talker, and my favorite is every so often he will really concentrate before he "talks"

He is getting to be such a big boy. It amazes me how fast he is growing, and that every day he gets a little bigger, and a little older acting.

Thanksgiving

I am late in posting this, but oh well. This year we had Thanksgiving at Jason's parents' house. We would have normally had it at grandma and grandpa Jorgenson's house, but they were in Boise, so Jason's mom took over and did an amazing job. It was fun to be with family and see everyone and of course eating the wonderful food.

My Big Boy!

Saturday Asher turned three months! I can't believe how big my baby is getting. He is growing so much every day. He now smiles a lot at people (not just his imaginary friend), he is really good at holding up his head, he is very alert and loves to coo and tell stories, and he takes after his dad and is in love with watching TV. He will watch for it forever, espesically if it is football. I love my little boy and how big he is getting, I just wish he would do it slower! Some recent pictures of the boy himself.

Asher's Friend

Asher has an imaginary friend!!! At least that's what I'm telling myself. Because it's either that or our house is hunted, or he just likes looking at a blank wall without even any pictures on it and smiling and laughing. Anyways this is the best video I've gotten. Sometimes he is full on laughing and it started out only in his room, when you were changing his diaper, and it was always the exact same spot that he would stare at, now he will occasionally do it in other rooms but he never giggles as hard as he does staring at his spot in his room. I love this boy!

Salmon '09

This year for our annual trip to Salmon, me and Jason were only able to go up for one night, and we didn't even take up our trailer, we stayed the night in a motel at North Fork. Even though we weren't there long we still had lots of fun. We got to see the kids' costumes for Halloween and they all went trick-or-treating to the camper's around us (except Asher, he was too grumpy and it was pretty cold at that point.) Hopefully next year we will be able to got up for longer, and Asher will be able to be outside playing more. All in all it was a short but fun trip!

Halloween Party!

On Friday night Jason's parents had a Halloween party. We had a delicious dinner then played a doughnut eating game, and visited. We had lots of fun! Then Saturday our brother-in-law Billy got Baptised. It was such a wonderful experience to be a part of, and Billy looked so proud afterwards. Congrats again Billy!!

Randomness about my boy.

• Last week when I went to put on one pair of his newborn PJ's, they were TOO SMALL! However most of his other NB clothes still fit, and his 0-3 month clothes are still a little big.


• He is beginning to kind of smile, and so far that I have seen, has done two really big REAL smiles!


• He loves to be held against your chest, and would sleep there all day if you let him.


• He usually will sleep really well at night, unless it's the weekend. Then he wants to be up every 2-3 hours all night, and is ready for the day at 7:30/8:00.


• He loves his bouncy chair. (Me too!)


• He looks just like his dad. (He is Jason's mini-me)


• He would much rather be held, then anything else.


• He sleeps fine in his cradle in our room at night, but during the day wants to be out where everyone is, even when he is sleeping.

Two Months Old!

Asher turn two months yesterday! I can not believe how quick he is growing up! He had his wellness check-up yesterday which means shots. He did really well and immediately stopped crying right after they were done. But they took so long that he completely missed one feeding and by the time he was able to eat I had to keep waking him up because he was so tired from crying. He felt very picked on. Poor little guy. He has been kind of fussy all day, but he was very good earlier when my sister-in-law Julie took his pictures. I will post some when she gets them done but it will probably be a little while since they are leaving Saturday for 10 days to go camping, but I will get them on here as soon as I get them. Here are some pictures that I took of him today. His two month stats are Height-22 Weight-9lbs 7oz and Head Circumference-15

The Day From H-E-Double Hockey Sticks!

So today was basically the above. Yesterday Asher basically just got up to eat. He slept all day and we were worried that he wouldn't sleep last night. But he did, thankfully.

And then there was today...

He slept so much yesterday that he has not hardly slept at all today, which in itself would not be bad except for the fact that he has been so tired that he has pretty much screamed all day! He would eat and then fuss and fuss, so I would put him in his bouncy chair with the vibrator on (it usually helps him fall asleep when he is overly tired, I say USUALLY) then he would start to calm down, stare off into space for a while, and finally close his eyes....for about 5 minutes, then wake up screaming, and I mean SCREAMING, and then we would start all over again. He is lucky he is so cute, (and that dad got home when he did) :). Jason took us for a ride, and it was the longest amount of none screaming time all day. Thank heavens for daddy! So he fell asleep on the ride and is currently still sleeping. Now why didn't I think of doing that?

New Camera, and At the Park

So Saturday we finally got a new camera! We have given up on finding our old one, especially since the last place I think I had it was at Jason's work, so it's probably long gone. I do wish that they would at least give me back the memory card so I could get the picture off of it, but I don't think that is going to happen. We basically got the same camera, just the next model up, and the only real difference is that the new one is a higher mega-pixal. It's even the same color! So the dogs haven't gone to the park in a long time so since this weekend was so nice we decided to take them. They had lots of fun being able to run free.
