The Twins Baby Blessing

My friend Sara was driving through after Christmas and was able to stop in for the Blessing.  It was awesome to see her after so many years.  She and I cheered together in High School.  We were such good friends and have been able to reconnect through the great world of blogging.

The twins blessing day was such a great day.  Our family has been so blessed with these little girls.  They have been such a great addition to our family.  They are so happy and just good tempered.   

In Lyza's blessing she was blessed with gratitude for life, that her heart will be strong, and that she will live a normal life with no physical challenges.  She was blessed with faith, courage to repent, that she would receive all the ordinances of the gospel, and find happiness as she grows.

Brynlee was blessed physically that her organs will function properly, that she will have no disabilities, and she was protected from people who would do her harm.  She was blessed with a gift of gratitude, a sense of humor and optimism.  She would receive all the ordinances of the gospel and live a long and prosperous life.  She was also blessed that she would have a family.

 

I'm not sure if this is appropriate to put on my blog but I know that there are many people who have been praying for their behalf and would want to know how things are going for the twins.    

The Best Christmas EVER!!!

This totally goes backwards.  Oh well.  Start from the bottom if you want.

Ryan and Marge were supposed to fly down Christmas day but the flight was cancelled because of snow.  They were able to come down Saturday night just before the blessing.  It was so much fun.  I'm so glad they could come.

Ellie got Spa Factory that had an Oatmeal face mask.  It was more like 

just putting cereal on your face more than anything.  She like it though.

Christmas morning started WAY early for us.  The twins woke up at 3:30 so I fed them hoping to put them back to bed and stay there until 8:00 but no such luck.  Ellie came in with a supposed "leg ache" then Noah woke up because his pullup leaked, then Abbie woke up from all the commotion, then they all found out that Santa had already come so there was no turning back.  They were all so excited and I can't really say that Jason and I weren't so we went down at 4:00am.  It was fun though.  When I was a kid I was always so sad when Christmas day was over.  This year though,  it was just right.  We loved it.

This has been such a fun Christmas!  The kids wanted a Wii and Guitar Hero and he sure delivered.  Abbie was just amazed that Santa could just "read her mind".

I know I've really beaten this "horse to death" but that's kind of how this birthday has been.  It started the day before Abbie's birthday and didn't end until 9 days later.  It was fun but man I'm exhausted!!
