I remember when...

just schtuff...

Today we spent some time playing in the hose at the blue house. It's been so hot in Austin that if we are outside we are in or around water. We have had a record of like 60+ days @ at least 100 degrees. I don't know who is crazier - Mother Nature or us for living here!

As you can see in above pics Jett doesn't like to walk - he likes to RUN FAST, and preferably RACE me everywhere we go. At night after a long hot day Brent and I just look at each other and shake our heads as he runs from the playroom to the kitchen and back, about 100 times announcing his passby with "I'm fast!" each time. Silly kiddo...

First Poo

I'm totally the mom who is posting a picture of her kids FIRST POOP IN THE POTTY! Jett was really proud of this. He ran out of the bathroom with both hands in the air screeching "I did it! I did it! Poopy in potty!!" he was very proud of himself and Brent and I gave him tons of praise. He did it all on his own - we didn't even ask him if he had to go!! Look at how cute it is ;) GO JETT!

He's 2! Jett turned 2 on June 22nd. Lotsa 2's in this heading, eh?

Big Boy Pants!

Jett is wearing Big Boy Pants! Not all the time, just during the day. He's been really good about going to the potty by himself without prompting and when he's finished he runs out saying "cookie!" which is his treat (a little bit of an oatmeal cookie). He is balancing on our couch in these pics but don't worry there is an ottoman with soft pillows behind him!

We Are Back!

Our flip house is finally on the market!! Yeeeeee haaawwwwww!!! Sweet freedom at last! We received 2 offers within first week but we weren't ok with either so back to square one... Days on market=10.
