It's wild to think that our days with everyone home are nearing the end. Hudson is a sophomore, so technically, if Hudson leaves home when he graduates we might only have two more holiday seasons after this one! That makes my heart hurt a little! We really don't get enough time with our children at home, do we? I need to remember to soak up my time with them. To stop being sad. Stop finding fault. Stop worrying so much. And simply enjoy. I loved looking back at our Thanksgiving pie making pictures. We played football together that day and then made the pies. I like days like that. Where we're just home, being creative, talking, and laughing. Also days when we just get outside and walk together. Or go to a show together. We did a lot of that this holiday season. The Sound of Music, the Nutcracker, Wicked ... so much fun! Andrea planned a fun holiday service project for our combined families serving at the food bank. That was a surprisingly fun afternoon. It was wonderful having the cousins together and just being there as a family working together. Gotta do more of that!
