LOVE.

I think it really hit me just today that my sweet baby girl is one. I cant believe it. She is changing so quickly, her personality is so different from my older child, but yet similar in so many ways. I have said since day one, she is her own little person. She is so determined, full of joy, curious, and happy. With all the last few months have brought with her health, she is now thriving in so many ways. Even the pediatrician said she feels so encouraged when she is able to observe our sweet little girl and see how she really is thriving. There have been some days that I felt so low, so burdened with worry over what was going on with our little one, but what a joy and peace it brings seeing her doing so well. I just want to say thank you to so many of you out there who kept our family in your prayers, sent cards, texts, and gave hugs :) I am beyond thankful for where the Lord has our family right now, at a place were we are striving to grow and learn how to be what HE desires for us. This journey we have been on with N has helped us to see that He works it all out for good. Feeling so much love and peace. ~W

start over?

trying to post to this blog one last time before I decide to start over....to see if it will work. There are so many memories documented here, i don't want to abandon it, but i have had a lot of trouble. Anyone else had similar problems?

Two amazing blessings

A few days ago was mothers day. This was my first mothers day to be a mom of two. Although there have been moments of chaos and a few meltdowns as we have adjusted to life with two little ones, I cannot imagine my life without them. My heart is so full and blessed! Thank you Lord for these precious children!

Swim Lessons!

Our last class is approaching to wrap up our two week swim lessons. The classes have been great to teach Max some basic swimming techniques. It has been so cute to go and watch max and the three other children chilling out on the "boat" and taking turns "swimming around" and jumping in from the side of the pool. Its little stuff like this that makes me one proud momma of my little red headed boy!

The sweetest thing....

As I have mentioned, my sweet babes are really starting to play with one another. Here are some pictures over the past week from the two playing together. There really isnt much sweeter than watching the two giggle and just lovin life!

He is RISEN!

What an amazing Holy Week we experienced as a family being able to share in Max's first holy communion, foot washing as a family, the ultimate act of servitude, Good Friday service, and then the celebration on Easter Sunday! We had an amazing day celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord in our new church area RESTORE, then a lazy afternoon eating delicious food and spending time with family and close friends. Thank you Lord for the amazing sacrifice for each of us.

Progression of crawling attempts :)

Sweet Pea is trying to crawl! We are excited about this new feat, but its another sign of our baby growing so quickly! She is quite motivated to learn this crawlng thing so that she can keep up with brother! He gets so tickled at watching her try to crawl.
