Hello Baby Bump

I officially can't hold my stomach in any longer. I'm now 15 weeks pregnant but I wanted to share my 14 week pictures, when I started really poking out. People weren't kidding when they told me I would start showing faster in my second pregnancy! I haven't gained any weight yet, but boy is my tummy growing! Now that I am no longer feeling nauseous 24/7, it is so exciting to be pregnant again. We are dying to find out whether we're going to have another boy, or a girl. I made an early ultrasound appointment with Care Net to hopefully find out what we're having on the 20th of this month, when I am 17 weeks along. We're crossing our fingers! If its not clear, we'll just have to wait until my regular OB ultrasound on June 21st. Jeremy wants another boy of course, and I'm still unsure. It would be fun for Camden to have a brother so close in age, but I think every Mom would love a girl ;) We'll see!

18 months old

Camden is such a big boy! He is almost 19 months old now, so I really want to share/brag a little bit about him and how much he has changed!

-At his 18 month doctor appointment, he weighed 23lbs and was 30 1/4 inches tall.

-He is in nursery now at church! I can hardly believe my little baby is so old! He loves watching the older kiddos play, and his favorite thing to play with is the vacuum. Of course. His first Sunday in nursery went amazing. He totally didn't care if I was in there or not (bittersweet!), so I decided to go ahead and leave him to go to Sunday School and Relief Society by myself for the first time in forever. I was so excited, but man it felt weird to sit still, and be able to actually listen to the teachers! Little did I know, shortly after that I would be asked to be a nursery leader once again. So I guess Camden is stuck with me! At least until I am too pregnant to help out anymore ;)

-He is in a big boy bed now! We switched his crib into a toddler bed, bought him his own little pillow, and he LOVES it! Seriously, I wish we did it sooner.

-He uses forks and spoons like a champ, and drinks out of open cups SO well. He's been doing this for a few months now. He actually prefers the open cup to his sippys now.

-He can say so many words now, too many to count. He is always talking. Anytime we ask him to say a new word he always tries, and most of the time he succeeds. He is so smart! His most used words are: please, thank you, mommy, daddy, grandpa ("po-pa"), puppies, cheese, banana, no, yup, hi, and what. I love his little voice, and I love how much he is talking now!

Things he LOVES now:
-The playground, especially the swings
-Puppies! I swear this kid can spot a dog anywhere.
-All animals. We got a season pass and have been taking him to Reptile Gardens a ton. He just loves looking at all of the turtles, snakes, prairie dogs, alligators, birds, and other reptiles.
-My phone. He knows how to unlock it, turn on music, scroll through pictures, go online, and call people. Tech genius. Seriously.
-He loves to call his Grandpa Ahern. Whenever he is upset, I ask him if he wants to call Grandpa and he cheers right up. He loves him so much!
-He loves to help me clean! When I vacuum, he vacuums with his toy vacuum. And he loves to help do laundry. Its adorable to see how excited he is to help.
-His favorite song lately is "Itsy Bitsy Spider" complete with all hand motions.
-He loves all food but won't eat strawberries anymore.
-He LOVES anything that goes "vroom vroom". Especially Daddy's 4 wheeler and dirt bikes. He is in heaven whenever Jeremy takes him on rides and lets him rev the engine. He is such a boy.
-He loves painting and coloring and can draw circles like nobody's business.
-Anytime we're outside, he loves to wear his "eyes" (sunglasses).
-He loves to sing along to songs whenever he hears music.
-He loves to do whatever his Daddy is doing.
-He is obsessed with bananas. He asks for one every morning and several times throughout the day.
-He can count to 3 and is very proud of that.
-He loves babies. He is always so smiley and tender whenever he sees them, and often tries to hold their hand and caress their face. SO sweet.


We love our sweet boy and are so proud of everything he is learning!

It's been a year..

I can't believe its been almost a whole year since my last blog post. A lot has happened since then! But some major updates are.. Camden is now almost 19 months old, Jeremy is preparing to be deployed this fall, and I am pregnant again! This year is going to be crazy for our little family.
I am due at the end of October, and Jeremy is scheduled to deploy a little bit before that. Yep, a little stressful to say the least. We're trying to plan out our life for the rest of the year, but as you might guess.. that's not necessarily easy to do when your spouse is in the military.
As of right now, our plan is for my Dad to come out here a little before I am due, help us gradually move most of our house into a storage unit, help us once baby decides to come (I might need to be induced in order for Jeremy not to miss the birth), we'll say goodbye and send Jeremy off on deployment, then shortly after that, my Dad, Camden, baby, the dogs and I will make the drive to New York to live there with my parents while Jeremy is gone. Phew.
I am so blessed to have a Dad that is so willing and able to help us out so much. It's going to make things a lot less stressful and crazy to have him here with me.

Squadron Softball

Jeremy just started playing on his squadron's softball team and last night was the first game! Cam was very enthralled watching his Daddy :) We're excited to go to more of those games!

Eight Months Old

Cam is 8 months old you guys! He is the most wonderful boy in the world and I can never get enough of him. Here are some facts about Mister Camden at 8 months old-
-He weighs about 20 lbs.
-He is quickly growing out of his 6-9 month clothes and is starting to wear 9-12 month clothes.
-He is CRAWLING!!
-He always wants to be standing at our coffee table.
-He likes to walk.. with our help of course.
-He is eating baby food like a champ. He isn't very picky, but his favorites are Peas & Carrots, Sweet Corn Casserole, Corn & Squash, and pretty much any fruit with Bananas.
-He loves to take sips of our water.
-He loves to fake laugh and cough.
-He loves to be outside.
-He waves hello and goodbye (when he's in the mood)
-He sometimes gives us high 5's.
-He is still Winston's #1 fan.
-He loves to cuddle with his Momma.
-He poops out of his diaper and up his back on a regular basis, no matter what kind of diapers we try.
-His favorite books are "Oink! Moo! How Do You Do?" and "Goodnight Gorilla"
-He's a pro at sitting in a shopping cart and high chair when we are out and about.
-He is the friendliest baby you'll ever meet, smiling and "talking" to literally anyone we see.

Utah Vacation 2012

For Memorial Day weekend this year we decided to make the drive to Utah to visit my brother Nick and his wife Errin! We had so much fun spending time with them and feel pretty lucky that we live within driving distance of each other. Here are some pictures from our trip-
