30 before 30 list...

I have been thinking it would really give my life some focus to set short-term goals. By short-term I mean in the next 2 years, hence the 30 before 30 list. Several blogs I follow have them and it seems to keep them accountable for making time to prioritize and complete goals. Now I just need to sit down and write them out. I'll let that be #1 on the list. ;)

loving my guy- makes me happier everyday

And waiting for Taylor to make her grand entrance! Due on July 22nd but nothing yet.

shoe love

This past weekend I fell in shoe love. Boot love to be exact. Time will tell if I get the courage to buy them (normally not something I would wear). Thankfully a very sweet sales girl sensed my hesitation and agreed to hold them for me for 2 days (Monday being the second day) and scanning them again for additional discounts. Hopefully they will be closer to $29 than the origional $138 price ;)

Post four: Casaundra's engagement party

Casaundra is a great friend. She's the kind of girl you don't talk to for awhile because life gets in the way and you reconnect like no time has gone by. She is also known as my wife...not really sure how all that started but I'm sure there were drinks involved. Anyhoo, she started dating Brad (or B-rad if you will) in 2007 and recently got engaged. Her engagement party was filled with family and friends, energetic with great food. She also doesn't eat land animals so I could eat almost anything served which is a real treat! Here are a few pictures from the night:

Post three: Jason and Lexi's wedding

February 24th Danny and I went to a beautiful wedding in Phoenix. Have you ever been to a wedding that literally exuded love? This was one of those weddings. There is a special bond the two of them that can be seen on thier faces in these photos. I had a great time catching up with friends from near and far.

Things I love about weddings:
1. The grooms face when the bride walks down the asile. Jason's made me teary eyed.
2. Flowers. I'm always interested in what kind of flowers the bride and groom will have at thier wedding. I feel like they make such a statement about who you are as a couple: quirky, traditional, creative, ect.
3. Sweets. Colleen made some seriously fabulous cupcakes for the reception.
4. Danny dressed up. He's such a dreamboat <3

Post two: peek-a-boo

Evan and I have a fun game we like to play. It's kinda like peek-a-boo but with a door. I "hide" in my room and he throws open the door and squeals like the cutest little piggy imaginable. It makes my heart melt how cute he is when he squeals. We can play this game forever....or until I get tired of him opening and closing the door :)

Routines/first post- Andrea's wedding show

Everyday I have a routine. Wake up, get ready, go to work. Come home, read all the blog posts for the day, check emails/ MLS postings, and finally facebook. Everyday single day I complete this routine without fail. It's my way of keeping in touch with all my blog friends and real friends since I rarely call anyone. I say this because I have realized that fail to keep my end of the bargain and actually post anything about my real life or daily happenings. I hope I can work a post into my routine. It's fun to look back at the entries, almost like a reminder of the life I have lived.

January: Wedding show in phx with bride to be Andrea, bridesmaid Jamie and Andrea's future MIL:

For the week preceding this picture I had the worst cold/flu/overall yuckness a girl can get. I felt like crap and apparently the outside matched the inside! Aside from all that we had a great time at the show! Weddings are such a fun and festive marker in a girls life. I'm so happy that I can be a part of this event for such a good friend.



I absolutely fell in love with this bouquet. The small yellow flowers are called Billy's balls and I can't get enough of them.



During the show I was able to snag sneak peek tickets to When in Rome. Jess and I went and agreed that it was a cute movie and agreed on the following things:
1. Kristen Bell has perfect teeth. Seriously perfect and makes me want a retainer.
2. Why Kristen and Dax Shepherd are engaged is beyond us.
3. Josh Duhamel is adorable.
4. I want to hire the wardrobe stylist for the movie to outfit me in real life.
5. I seriously cringed when she got in the fountain in her GORGEOUS wedding dress. Physically cringed.
