School starts TOMORROW. Oh my goodness. I cannot believe it. AT. ALL.
All my books are in my backpack and ready to go. I'm ready to learn! :)
Last night we had a huge finale party where there was a dance and games and a bunch of fun stuff! (Including ICE CREAM!!) :) It was a ton of fun! The dance was HUGE! There were a TON of people! And then, it started raining on us!! It was awesome! I got soaked! Twas prolly one of de best dances eva! ;)
Today we went to church! We are the 122nd ward. Out of...I dunno...a kabillion. :)

College Life

NOW is the start of my college life!! I can't believe I'm this old! Ick.
This week has been New Student Orientation (NSO) up at BYU. It's been crazy busy! But a lot of fun! I've met a ton of new friends and I've seen some old friends from Pine View! :) I love it!
So, I moved in on Wednesday. It was a crazy mess. But it's finally all settled! :)
I have all my book and I think I'm set for Monday. YIKES!! College starts on MONDAY!? Where did the summer go??My roommates are a blast! :) Marissa and Catherine! They're fun :)

NSO has been super busy. I'll just name off the fun stuff that we've done. ;) Thursday night we had a class photo in the BYU Stadium. We were in the shape of a 'Y'! It was great! And the best part, I wasn't even looking. :) hahaha I was talking to some friends and they didn't even tell us they were gonna take the picture. Twas grand. After the picture, we had a pep rally and then we had FIREWORKS!! :D it was fun!

Friday night there were a bunch of events that we were able to go to. I had to work from 5-8 (my FIRST day of work!!!) and after I headed over to the Girls Soccer game!! We played Florida...but lost 1-0. :( It was very sad. BUT on the bright side, I got a HUG from COSMO!!! :D YESS!!! It made my night. :) After the game, we went over to another field where they had ice cream and a 40 FT SCREEN where they were watching TANGLED!!!!! :D :D I LOVE TANGLED! It's my favorite movie I think. :)














And that's my college life as of right now! Next week it will just be school, work, eat, homework, and sleep. Joyous...
11 days left until MITCH comes home from his mission!!! I am STOKED!!!!!! :)

Last Day in St. George

I'm up at college now. It's a weird feeling. Being all on my own and trying to be grown up.. I miss being just a lil' kid. :)
I had packed all my stuff about 2 weeks before I actually had to move because we transformed our basement into a bed and breakfast. So this is where I had been sleeping for the 2 weeks before I left...
Okay, not really. :)
I had a bed usually...key word: USUALLY. ;)My parents were kind enough to let me do one last thing with my friend, Tianna!We went to Orange Peel and got smoothies. It was fun :) We had been trying to make cookies or do something all summer, and luckily she didn't have a 6th period, so we were able to take that time to do something before I left! I'm going to miss her so much!
On the way up to Provo, we stopped in Cedar and I got to see Shayna!! It was good to see and talk to her!! I miss that girl.
I'll see her in 1 1/2 weeks when I go down for a homecoming tho! I'm super excited!! :)
Later that night, I went and got ice cream with Jesse and his friend Ammon. It was a lot of fun. :) I love ice cream too, so that made it even better! ;)

Everything is gonna be different..

My best friend moved away today. I'm going to miss her so much! She was such a wonderful friend and a great example to me. Hopefully it won't be too long till I see her again. :)A lot of my friends moved away today also. They're all going to SUU. I hope they have a fun time. :)
I move in a week! I can't believe it. My room is packed up and ready to go. I'm ready. :)
School starts in 1 1/2 weeks. That's weird. I'm going to college now! I'm OLD! ;) I have most of my books...still working on the money situation. I'm nervous for the harder classes and bigger homework load. Hopefully I can do it. I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be. ;) Look out BYU! Cuz here I COME!! :)
My friend comes home from his mission in just under 3 weeks. I cannot describe how extremely excited I am! I have missed him so much! I can't wait to hear all the mission stories! :) I forget what his voice sounds like...I'm excited to hear his voice again..haha :) I'm super excited to see him again. Just 3 more weeks...it seems SOOO far away.. Time should move a little faster.. ;)
Everything is gonna be different now. But a good different. I think I'm ready for it. :)

I did it!!!

I did it!! After a month of trying to get a job I finally GOT ONE!!! Wahoo!! :)
I went up to Provo a month ago for a week and went around looking for jobs.
My friend, Marissa, was kind enough to let me stay with her for the week! During that week I applied for about a dozen or so jobs. The rest of the time, Marissa and I played :) And we found out that she went to the same elementary school as I did in 4th grade! It was crazy awesome!
We went and fed the duckies!! :)

There were DUCKLINGS!! Ah they were adorable! SO cute! :)

So, finally after thinking that I was just going to have to go up to Provo without a job, I got a call. I was in Salt Lake for the weekend for my brother's wedding (which was completely fabulous by the way). :) While waiting after the wedding to start the reception I got a call from Jimmy Johns asking if I could come in Monday for an interview. We were leaving Salt Lake Sunday, so after figuring stuff out with my parents, I told Jimmy Johns that I could do Monday!
I stayed that night with Marissa, and on Monday I went in for my interview!!
The interview went great, and after the girl interview me, told me, "Well, you got the job, if you would like it?" I was so excited! I said I would love to have the job and that was that! I have a job!
I start next week!! :)
