The first 24

Welcome to the world "baby boy Wilcock"
Mom's first thoughts: I had a feeling you were a boy. It's so nice to meet you, my sweet baby. With all that blonde hair, he just looks like a Charlie.
Big brother Drew doesn't know that everything is about to change!;)

Could Kate's smile get any bigger? I don't think so!
Proud big sister.:) (They have the same mouth).

 First family photo
 Four kids!!!!

"That hair!" That's what everybody says. We can't figure out where he got all that light blonde hair but we love it! So unique!

Keeping up with tradition...dad changes my first poopy!
 No name yet.

Getting his hearing test done. He failed the first one because he wouldn't hold still. The tech doing the test asked me to hold him. He held on tight to my fingers and laid perfectly still. She said "he just needed his mommy!" I don't know who needed who more. I'm already so in love with this boy.
 Melt my heart.
 "Brothers"
 LOVE this picture!
Having some mommy time with my other boy.:)
Already in love. I didn't have to make them pose for this picture.
He doesn't like formula. He spits it up every time!
 Kate's in her happy place.:)
Not so sure about the car seat.
They are ready to take him home...well, the girls are anyway!
 Home at last.

Count down

So...it's Monday night. I'm hanging out by myself and thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. The last few days have been a bit...rough. I'm trying not to be "that" pregnant lady, but I'm failing miserably. I am trying to enjoy the last few days of ever being pregnant, but I'm struggling at that as well. I know I will miss many things about being pregnant when it's over, but right now...I'm done!
I go in to be induced on Thursday morning at 4 a.m. The reality of the fact that I will soon have 4 kids hasn't set in yet. I'm not sure if that's a good thing...or a bad thing. I have so many different thoughts running through my head. Things I want to remember about being pregnant, about this pregnancy. Thoughts on this baby that will soon be joining our family. Where do I begin?
I feel like I've done good at recording different things along the way. My cravings, my thoughts, the baby's progress. I'm trying to think of anything I might be forgetting. It's kind of crazy knowing that there's a phase in my life that's about to come to an end. As much as I know this will be the last child and I feel good about that decision, I have a hard time realizing this is the last one. The last time I will feel the miracle of life living inside me. Being the only one to know this little person. I've been it's home for 9 months and now I have to share it with the world. I do love many things about being pregnant...it's just harder to think of those things at this stage when I feel so ready to meet this baby!
I will miss watching my stomach move all over the place, wondering if there's a circus underway in there. Wondering what this little bump or that little bump is. "Chasing" the baby with my hand. The funny cravings that this little thing makes me want. (Ice!, anything with vinegar...mustard, salt and vinegar chips, pickles) just to name a few. I love the wonderment that comes with carrying a baby. Who will it look like? What will it be like? Is it a boy or a girl? What will it's name be? The anticipation...what will my labor be like? The excitement of those first few seconds when they place the baby in my arms and I don't know how I ever lived without them. Those are the things I love about pregnancy. Those are the things I will miss.
So, only a few more days baby. Your almost done being cramped in there. And I know you are because you push on moms stomach in ways I didn't know I could be stretched! I'm so excited to meet this little gymnast. To know if I have another son, or another daughter. To feel the same intense love I have felt with every baby that's been placed in my arms. You have some older sisters that are more than thrilled to meet you! There has not been one day since telling them we were expecting you that they haven't talked about you. They have taken turns everyday reading your progress and what's going on inside from our daily calendar. They've made this pregnancy feel like 19 months instead of 9!;) But that's OK because I love seeing how excited they are and knowing what good hands you'll be in with those two protectors. Your big brother...we will see!;) He will love you...for a few seconds and then probably be "done". He will be a sweet big brother...at times. I'm guessing he will have a hard time sharing mom for the first while. He's pretty attached and doesn't like to share mom. It will be good for him to learn through a younger sibling. And I plan to give you as much time and attention as I can. I want to enjoy you, my sweet little baby. To take in everything everyday. I don't want to miss anything. You are my last and I want to enjoy you. So, the next time I post, you will have joined our family! I can't wait to meet you little one. love, mom

Easter

 I love the morning faces.
*Notice the beautiful real grass we spent 2+ weeks babying for our Easter baskets. Loved the look but not very practical for putting candy on. :P
In this picture, the girls are laughing because I had just told Macy she needed to sit differently because I could see her undies. Kate then asked "can you see my undies?" and right after that Drew asks "see my undies?" We all got a good laugh...and some good smiles.
 My two main men.
I love these kids so, so much!
Me and my girls. Not quite sure why I was hunched over so much, its not like I'm much taller than Macy...?
 Love these four people.

I am so grateful for the true meaning of Easter. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for me. That he made it possible for me to return to live with him and these people I love so very much, forever. I'm grateful to be a member of this church and the blessings that come from it.
Happy Easter!

Easter festivities

We went to our ward Easter breakfast/egg hunt yesterday. The kids had a lot of fun! This is the only kind of Easter egg hunt I will let them participate in (long story but soooo justified as to why I no longer participate in them!;))

So...Drew looked like this for the first few minutes.....not too sure why he was suppose to be collecting eggs off the ground and putting them in his basket...?

Once he realized what was inside the eggs...he looked like this.

 Macy, raiding her loot.
Love these kiddos.
Later we colored eggs. The kids really got into it and we had a lot of fun!
This boy loves his big sisters.:)
Love this picture

Kate was very sweet and made each of us an egg from her.
