Cookie Time

Today was a good day for the first half then... Another not so nice day the second half, so Jettsen, Owen, and I decided to try new cookie recipe. Brownie Chocolate chip cookies!!

They LOVE to "help" me in the kitchen. We have never really used the kitchen Aid while they have baked with me, so when I whipped that baby out Owen started to cry (he has been super wussy recently). Jettsen honestly thought it was the coolest thing he had seen. He kept saying, this thing is CRAZY... Then Owen liked it! That thing kept them entertained for a good 3 minutes!

Of course after we got the cookies made we had to taste them!!!

I think we all agreed that they were good and will be made in the Jones home again!!

I also have been trying to pass these crappy weather days by doing a few crafts.. here is one.

It's a Birthday wreath, I saw it and thought it would be easy.... easy it was but I can not even begin to tell you how many times I had to run to the dollar store to get balloons... Jason would laugh at me every time.. it still has some holes in it but guess what??? I don't care!

The other day I walked into the bathroom to find this...

He was so proud of himself, he looked up at me with those beautiful eyes and said.. "Owen pretty".

Then Jason came in and lifted him to show him in the mirror what he looked like.

He looked.... We laughed!

He cried!!

Hippity-Hoppity Easters on it's way!!

For a fun festive activity we took the boys to baby animal days, the boys thought it was pretty fun. Until they got in with the cows. Then they were a little... Terrified, and to be completely honest I was too (those things have HUGE nasty eyes and were loud).

The next day was Saturday and the Easter bunny came, Jason had to work from 4 Saturday to 8 in the morning Sunday. Therefore we celebrated early. The Easter bunny left their presents up on their beds and they were SO excited!!

Owen got a Scout leapfrog dog that he thinks is pretty great. It says his name and Owen's favorite food and color and animal, it also sings and Owen dances!

Jettsen has a leapfrog "video game system" that our old neighbors the Stickneys gave him, he loves it and feels like a big boy when he plays it. So he got a few more games to play on that.

On Easter we went to my sister BreAna's to have dinner and an Easter egg hunt, my boys LOVE to play with her boys! So we hardly saw them. They had some pretty awesome Imaginext toys that my boys don't have!

We had a wonderful Easter and love our boys so much, when Jettsen saw his Easter presents on his bed he went running in and stopped and said "mom the Easter bunny came and brought me prizes cause I am a special boy" and I said yep! that is exactly right!!

FINE!!

So I guess I am a little behind.... I just haven't felt like blogging, but I guess Jason has officially bugged me enough that I will do this... I am just going to speed catch up...

Halloween came and I just have to stick this in cause my kids were adorable. Jettsen was a pirate (for some reason he went through this pirate phase.. well he still is) and Owen was... A freakin Garden Gnome, how awesome is that!


Jettsen had his 3rd birthday! He had a pirate themed party, surprise, surprise.

Thanksgiving happened... No pictures!

We enjoyed ourselves a lovely Christmas! Which seems to get funner every year with these boys!! Which I seem to have lost my pictures somewhere in my computer... but believe me we had a great Christmas!

We took the kids sledding a couple times, but then Jason had the awesome idea to let our 1 year old go down by himself...

It ended about how I thought it would.. Jason and I do not have a good sledding history together, I don't know why he had to drag our kids into it..
On Valentines day we gave Jettsen the lovely treat of.. getting his tonsils out. After a chronic cough and snoring, the pediatrician decided it was time for those babies to be gone. So 2 days later he went in for his surgery and got them out.

I wasn't thinking and didn't take my camera, but believe me, I wouldn't have been able to use it anyways. Jett came out of anesthesia a COMPLETE PSYCHO, he was screaming and fake puking and dry heaving.. It was honestly quite the site. He did really well though a few rough days but he did great!
This was 2 days later.. the blue lips are from a Popsicle!

We then moved to a new place on the north end of town and Owen had a Birthday, yes that is right I no longer have a baby. My baby turned 2! If you ask him though he will tell you that he is still a baby and I can't get his bottles away from him.. I have NO clue what to do!

For Owens Birthday we took the boys to the aquarium.

We then went to Owens Well Child check and Surprise surprise guess what.. Owen needed his tonsils out too, And his had to be done within the next 2 days as well cause he was having a hard time breathing and swallowing. I was just like shiz this is just grand.

So 2 days later we took Owen in.. again no camera. but this time around we got to watch Owens surgery.. kinda sick but interesting and scary! He did about the same as Jett coming out of anesthesia minus the fake puking. but seemed to be doing much better than Jett over all!

Then the next day came.. and literally all hell broke loose. Owen had stopped drinking and we were literally trying to force him to when I decided to run him up to the ER, he was extremely dehydrated and could barely move. So they got him hooked up to an IV and then to some heart monitors and noticed that his O2 was only at 70 and was going down. So they put him on Oxygen and it didn't really help. By then I was freaking out cause Jason was at work and I was alone. All the sudden Owen sounded as if he was drowning, he was making a gurgling noise and was gasping so they had to call down respiratory therapy. He had to get suctioned out, they went down his nose (and he had just had is adenoids out) and sucked and sucked a half a mug full. It was so scary he got admitted and stayed for 2 days, then was in the hospital just in the days for 5 days.. It was so sad and we are so glad that he is now on the mend.We are still having trouble with his weight, he is at 21 pounds.

But to make that experience even better while all this was going on we were supposed to be in Disneyland with my family, so when Owen started to do better we loaded the kids in the car and stayed at a hotel in SL and went to the zoo and Park City! We had so much fun swimming and playing!!

So that is basically what we have been up to.. The boys are still as cute as ever and make us laugh everyday! They are getting so big and play really well together, they hate to be apart. I have been waiting for that for a while!

Jett is still really outspoken and I just have to share this funny story. So it was our first week in out new ward and Jett was playing and looking around. He had been staring at the man behind us for a while, the man was just resting his head in his hands.. sleeping I am sure. When Jettsen jumps up and yells "mom this man seriously has no hair." Yes we wanted to leave but why would we when two seconds later he starts yelling "What color is Jesus" yes that is my son!

Any ways, I just finished my boys room and bathroom and thought I would share..

But that right there has been all we have been up to in the past 6 months I hope you all enjoy! I promise I will try and do better! For some odd reason it makes Jason CRAZY when I don't blog.. I think he just wants me to do it so he can play video games!! Anyways I will blog to you about Easter next!!

Hey Noelle, This is your blog speaking. I am not sure what I have done to offend you, but whatever it was I am sorry. I never ment for you to leave me high and dry for the past 6 months. I miss your posts about your wonderful children and that increadibly good looking husband of yours. I promise to make you guys look good in all your pictures, which is not hard for Jason. Please give me another chance and I promise to make it worth your while. With all my stupid fake smiley face things that people have come up with :) ;) :O :D and on and on and on. I love you. Bestest of friends

I can't believe it is September all ready... what the! Where does the time go?? We enjoyed August by soaking up every second with Jason that we could, cause now that school is here between school and work.... He is NEVER here.... BOO.

But that being said here is some pictures of our goings ons in August....We camped in the back yard... bad idea the sprinklers came on at 2 in the morning, drenching us... it was still fun for those few hours of sleep though!
