My Wedding Bouquet

For my bridal pictures I bought flowers from local grocery stores and made it myself. The flowers where a little beat up but in the pictures you can hardly tell. _Making the bouquet_ I used two types of cream roses, one that had a peach center and one that was solid cream. I also used white alstroemeria and mini white carnations. Here is the final product below. Photo taken by Carolyn Anderson.

BYU-Idaho Devotional Arrangement

This floral design is one of the better ones that I have done. The morning that I set this up I didn't have the floral product that I wanted to I had to just grab what there was. This is the result. I love the color scheme the most!

In creating this I realized that the greatest designs are spontaneous and not planned. That is the joy of being an artist, not knowing what you can create before you create it!

Spring Green

So this week the grass has finally turned green! Dispit the color change the weather cannot make up its mind on what to stay with. On Saturday I started the yard work at 9am and it was snowing! Crazy! My mother and father helped me clean out some of the flower beds on the east side of the house and put in a black metal liner. It looks good but let's hope that it helps keep out the grass. Here are the updated photos of the yard. The lilac smells and looks great!

Spring Cleaning of the Gardens

Hello again! It has been a couple of years since I updated this blog but I am back now and starting a new project for the spring and summer! My parents have a beautiful yellow house in Idaho that needs a lot of yard work done so I volunteered to help. These photos are of the plots of dirt that I will be transforming into beautiful flower beds, a vegetable garden and a fresh raspberry patch.
