Dinner Parties, Homemade Apple Sauce, & A Christmas Tree!

One of Brians co-workers invited us to a pirate theme murder mystery dinner. Glad we went all out with our costumes, because everyone there was all decked out!

Thanks to Elizabeth Jones, canning homemade applesauce has because a yearly tradition!

Went the day after Thanksgiving to get our tree, which was way too big for our car. 

Halloween...It's a family affair

Every year since we have been married, we dress up for halloween with a family theme. This year almost fell through...I was just not feeling motivated. BUT I pulled it together with the help of my mom. Brek loved carving pumpkins and picking out the seeds. 

And here we go...Mckay was the cutest octopus you ever laid your eyes on!

 And Brekan was THRILLED to be a fishy...what? You can't tell?

Grandma and Grandpa Pope Visit-Week 2

The last few days my parents were here we went up to Branson, MO for a few days. It was perfect weather, we had the best hotel with an indoor water park, and we were able to go see a few shows. We had a ton of fun and will definitely be going back again!

Both boys were obsessed with Grandpas glasses. Mckay would grab them any chance he had and Brekan wanted to see what it would be like to wear them :)

We had a great couple weeks. Now we just have to wait a couple months before they come back at Christmas!
