Finally Finished!

Sewed this....

For this beautiful woman's birthday gift.

My mom has wanted a denim quilt for as long as I can remember. So, for her birthday (in October) I decided to make one for her. It was suppose to be a surprise. I got the jeans she had been saving up from her house one weekend when she was out of town. I even borrowed her sewing machine (told her I was making a baby blanket).

However, I don't know how to work a sewing machine, let alone sew a blanket. So I had to break down and tell her what I was sewing and ask her for a little bit of help. With it out in the open now, I had to get it finished. She was excited to finally have a denim blanket, and I was excited to have the mess out of my house.

She did get her birthday gift, but it was 3 months late. The blanket isn't perfect by any means. I learned a whole lot during this adventure, and plan on making another one just to redeem myself. It was a fun try, and it made my Mama happy, so that is all that matters.

Blake's First Hair Cut!

Blake's hair was getting long in the front and around his ears, so we decided to give him his first hair cut. He was one day shy of turning 7 months old! I am fortunate enough to have a husband who knows his way around with a set of hair clippers. He cuts his hair, Boston's hair, and now Blake's hair, along with all of the male family members who want a cut. I love the ease and convenience it is to have Ian cut the boys' hair. Now, if only I wanted to look like all of them, then I could save lots of money and have him cut my hair too!

What a cute little stinker! He definitely was happy when the buzzing was all over with. This hair cut ended up cutting off his brown hair and now his hair is a lot more blond.

P.S. Blake drools like a mad man! That is why he is soaked in these pictures. Yes, all of that liquid came from his mouth!

Christmas Card

This was our Christmas card. I sent a lot out, but ran out of stamps, and then lost track of who got one and who didn't. If you got one great, if not, sorry you got lost in the hustle and bustle of Christmas. Hope you had a wonderful holiday, and hope that you get all that you wish for in the new year.

We've been really busy.

Nothing unusual there.

Ryan is still in the Primary.

Ian is in the Financial Clerk's Chair.

Ian finally GRADUATED!

He has his Business Degree.

Ryan let out a sigh of relief,

While everyone else said, "YIPPEE!"

Ryan finished teaching,

Despite being pregnant.

Now she stays at home

Perfecting "Kid Management."

We welcomed a new addition.

Baby Blake has finally come.

Our house feels so much smaller,

Than when we had just one.

Boston's a big brother.

He's matured a WHOLE LOT!

He's now attending Preschool.

A better boy couldn't be bought!

We hope that this poem
