Class of 2010! Want to sell your books?

Hey class of 2010! This is Colette. Hey I know a first year who really wants to buy books from one of you! If you are interested in selling, write a comment with your phone number or email and I'll have her contact you.

Just FYI, I didn't use ANY of my first year books to study for boards. In my opinion, you will be PLENTY busy studying the board review books which are more helpful. Just a thought....

Fall is here!

Oh my goodness. Can you believe that fall is here and it's time for our Senior year?! It's crazy. Well, I hope you all had a wonderful summer. Orientation will be Friday, August 21 at 9:00. Ours will be an hour then I hope you will all hang around as we will have a picnic at 12:15 at Nelson's Grove (park behind Wal-Mart) with the first years to meet your little sister. We will have a gift for them and let you pay us back ;) Give me a call with any questions!

Want to Sell your Typodont?

Hey Class of 2009!
If you want to sell your typodont to one of the new first years, you'll need to do it soon. You can call Joyce to get a phone number of one of the girls. If you do end up selling it, you need to let Joyce or Mrs Veit know, so they know how many they need to buy. Mrs. Veit needs to order them by July 20, so that's your deadline. Hope everyone's summer is going slendidly!

Catching up fun!!

Yay for being done with the first year of dental hygiene school. We all rock, remember that. I wanted to share some fun times/photos with everyone who wants to see. Second years who are leaving us, the newbies who will be joining us (to show them how much fun we have!), and us...since we tend to never get sick of ourselves! Enjoy.

One day in Mrs. Knight's class (of course) we were split up in two groups and we each had to "write" a song. This is our group, singing to "Ice, Ice Baby". Our song was "Let's Learn Baby".














This is the other group who did four different "clips" of songs trying to explain different cultures. The classic was "Linda, Linda" to the tune of "MamaMia"














The last day of clinic, Rylee and Jen were trying to trim molds for bleach trays and the trimmer went crazy and water went everywhere. Sadly, the camera missed the fun, but this is Jen trying to clean up after.

The (almost) last day of our first year!! We got to sit in the hall for an hour and display our service projects for community health. Some studied, most talked, but I made everyone pose for the camera (of course!)

Fantastic News...

All 14 second years passed written boards! I don't know much of the details...but what I do know is that the national average was like 84. Mrs. Veit has the results. We'll also get notification in the mail.
