Dry Shampoo

The Secret: You don't have to wash your hair every day! I used to use baby powder as dry shampoo but I have found a few really good hair powders/dry shampoos so I wanted to share.

Tigi Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret just came out, I have it and love it. You just spray it on your roots and your hair isn't oily anymore! It is white so you have to brush it through your hair a little so the color disappears. It sells for $18.99. But... for all you darker haired girls... Bumble and Bumble has hair powder in nearly every color. Black, brown, blonde, red, light brown, etc. At $34 it is a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it if you have dark or red hair.

Braids

I love Lauren Conrad's braids. They are great if you want to keep bangs out of your face or just to add style to your hairstyle. To do: make a deep side part, then create a thin French braid along your hairline starting with a half-inch piece next to the part. Secure the end of the braid with a clear elastic or a bobby pin, and tuck it behind your ear.

I also love the small braids. To do: section off a small piece of hair along the part and braid it normally, secure with a bobby pin. Looks best with wavy/curly hair so that you can hide the end of the braid with a bobby pin.

Bangs

I love Reese Witherspoons bangs! I saw a movie with her in it and that's all I could think about half the time were how cute her hair is! It's a great way to update your style without doing anything drastic.

Nanoworks Shampoo and Conditioner is Pureology's luxury line. It is really the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. It makes your hair feel silky soft and actually has an anti-age complex in it. I love love love it and use it when I want to splurge a little.

First of all a good shampoo/conditioner combo.

Pureology is my favorite... (if you're wondering if nicer brands really make a difference... they do!) Pureology makes a straightening duo, hydrating duo and volumizing duo. They are all color safe. {but great also for those with no color in their hair}

My favorite styling product for all hair types is Schwarzkopf Sealed Ends!

I love it. It makes your hair extremely soft without having it feel greasy at all! It actually is supposed to reduce split ends by 70%... so it makes your hair soft and manageable, and also helps keep it healthy between trims.
