Our Tree

We decide this year to try a long needled Ponderosa Pine. I didn't really

like them but once it was up, I thought it was beautiful.

These next two pictures are just priceless to me.

Dallin would run over get an ornament and put it on the tree,

pretty soon I noticed they were all going on one branch.

Ahoy... We went all out!

I was in charge of a majority of the Halloween party this year and so I wanted to go with a family theme and it was a miracle that David agreed. We went with the pirate theme.

This is what we handed out for the trick door treat.

We went all out and got a black trunk and bought pirates booty

popcorn(one of my fave's) and chocolate coins.

We also had a pumpkin carving contest and we stayed with the theme for the night!

Thanks to my family for being a happy little pirate gang, no one had to walk the plank :)

Football In a Nutshell

 Every home game all the girls/sisters of players go and

make up cheers and come and perform them.

Our last game of the season is on Wednesday, the Black vs. the Orange

I'm really excited to go to it. I've been pretty lucky to be able to go to most of 

his games considering YW's is on Wednesday nights.

First Days Of School

Wow. As I look at the their first day of school pictures, I can see how photogenic they all are(They kinda look like deer in the headlights looks) I sure can't wait to see their school pictures.

Aiden's 10th Birthday Parties

Every other year I let my kids have a party and because I had Dallin the year that Kendra was suppose to have a party, It just so happened that Aiden & Kendra both had parties this year. For Aiden's 10th birthday he wanted a sports party.  I wasn't sure if 10 year olds would like a bounce house since the only thing Aiden wanted to do at his party was play football and I wasn't sure that would entertain that many kids for two hours so we got the bounce house, the boys loved it so much that none of them wanted to play football.

for his friend party and football field for his family party.

The spread, since Aiden was mostly into football. We tryed to incorporate

football snacks- cracker jack popcorn, pretzels, veggie tray, chips and salsa

and nacho cheese, brown licorice, sunflower seeds, chocolate covered

strawberries(decorated as footballs) and lemonade.

I saw these on pinterest but they didn't quite turn out like

the example.

All in all parties are stressful for this mama but I hope my kids enjoy there parties.

Camping

David & I were trying to remember the last time we went camping and we came to the conclusion that we thought it was when Kendra was 2 months old. How sad, But the boys go to father and sons every year so that must take care of their camping fix. We had a good time, we were one of two families camping in a tent in the whole campground, everyone else had camper trailers.

We really enjoyed ourselves, we might have to go camping again next year.

My Water Babies

I took the Kids up to the lake one night and they LOVED it, and who wouldn't love the water(other than David). I am a big water person I love the water, love to swim, water ski and just be around the water. My sweet husband doesn't feel the same about water and I learned that on our honeymoon. I told my kids that they should be glad that there dad wasn't there because he is more worry some than I am, especially around water.

Trevyn was the first to volunteer to try out the knee board.

He is my fearless child.

We had a fun night but didn't get home until about 11 or 11:30 at night but it was such a good time.
