Starting Over with the Terrible 2's

Little Miss. Sassykins has a birthday tomorrow, again we have chosen to partake in another round of the twos with our third born.  Out of my mouth this morning I actually said, "let's have annother!"  Then moments later she is putting deordrant on her lips and escaping out of her car seat as we struggle to travel across town.  The blessings are hindered fold but the struggle is real.  Silly Milly, or as we like to call her "Sister" is by far our most determined child.  I thought Jack was most persistent but Sael has him beat hands down!

With weeks of rain, we have found a moment of sunshine in the Tundra as we attempt to head up the Hungry Horse Reseviour to look for the perfect dead tree to bring home.  Cutting wood makes my husband happy, happy, happy and gets us all out of the house where we can get back to nature and get lifted up for a moment after a long week.

People often say enjoy them because before too long they will be grown and it will just be you and your husband.  I can start to see what they mean as my oldest Jack is already through third grade and myself nearing forty!  Holy smokes, it is time to enjoy the little things...like Krispy Kreme!

Mother's Day

Sweet day with sweet people. Not every moment is glamorous but it is mine, and I am thankful to have them.

An Apple for Jack

Scratches on my old phone brought new life to Jack's technological interest as I upgraded and he received Uncle Paul's old iPhone 4. He has a hip storage case and nose to the phone discovering new apps and Apple's outstanding features. Impressively he moves through the phone discovering a Tech World just for him.

Snow in April

A mid April snow keeps the wood stove burning and fresh mowed grass covered as our new vehicles gather flakes in the driveway. Only 32 degrees but pleasant enough to sneak outside for a walk with our loving lab Lucee who is more like a pup than a soon-to-be 7 year old. There is no reason to worry here in Big Sky Country-life is better than good, it's a dream!

We have a little reading competition on our hands now!  Kruz wants to out read Jack, and Jack wants a Wiiu for learning to read all his word cards.

We will be using Dolch sight word cards and Raz Kids to get this party started!
