We've marked off family renunion #2 this year (it was actually a lot of fun) and I got to meet some more very interesting and fun extended family members and learned so much about the family that I could probably ace a quiz! We also became one with nature. Well, sorta. We saw 3 very large raccoons, several turtles, and 3 river otters! We did not become one with nature so much that I was willing to go on a Dance Walk with Uncle Gale - but nonetheless, I had a good time. (Pictures are on my dead phone - but visualize old lodge/family/fishing dock/private lake).
Now I just have one day of work this week before we head to Colorado to meet up with my parents for a week of hiking, shopping, and relaxing. I'm so ready!
I also have become more interested in plants/flowers, gardens, etc. And the Thompson side seem to have several gardeners and plant lovers. I even came away with 2 plants of my own and a river otter.
Ok not an otter.
Someday I will have a garden though, just don't know when. But while I was finishing up some freelance projects, I ran across this jam label maker and now I really want fresh fruits and vegetables!
