snowpocalypse 2009

it is snowing and it may never stop.  according to our drywall-t yardstick we are up to 19 inches in the last 22 hours.

christmas in the big city

ash came to visit and we loved every freezing minute. luckily we had an iphone to document all the dorky moments at the white house, downtown and at the temple.

I just miss her already. come back soooon.

baby caleb

what a little miracle. baby caleb is the first baby I have seen brand brand new and I loved being among the first to greet him. what a perfectly darling little bundle of love.

autumn in dc

mom and dad came for a fall visit to see the colors [and of course me]. we saw some sights, ate lots of food, drove skyline drive to check out the foliage, went to gettysburg, ate some more.

true to form, i put them to work with a little painting and packing to prep for the upcoming move. we had a blast.

meet me in st louis

I made a long weekend to visit katelyn and her bundle. we had so much fun; I cant wait for next years trip. I just love her.

pittsburghers

east coast adventuring took me to pittsburgh. despite a lovely head cold and the general gloominess of rain, I very much enjoyed the city. cute little neighborhoods, great bridges, nice museums, charming inclines and a firework show!

and, the locals [who, much to my chagrin, do not refer to themselves as 'pittsburghers'] call slices of pizza 'cuts'... adorable.
