25 weeks!!

Today I am exactly 25 weeks along in this pregnancy! I can't believe I only 15 weeks (hopefully less) left!! It is going by so fast. I've definitely gained a few more lbs. than I had with Paisley at this point but I think it's because I was walking almost everyday with Paisley and I have gone on maybe 3 or 4 walks this whole pregnancy lol I really need to start walking!! Anyway, we went for our Dr.'s ultrasound and they said it was definitely a girl!! and we are so happy and grateful that everything looks healthy on her...what a blessing! I am so excited for Paisley and Presley to be best friends growing up! :) So far this pregnancy is going well. I have to take the 3 hour glucose test AGAIN at my next appt. so that kinda sucks, but hopefully it'll come out negative again and I can continue enjoying my junk food treats! lol

Air Show

Last weekend was the Air Show at Mather AFB and of course we had all of our family over for a BBQ. It was a lot of fun! It's our little tradition now!

Ryah Bear...so cute! She had to wear a dress up and I don't have that many because Paisley's not quite into dressing up yet so all I had was her Halloween costume. I asked Ryah if I needed to get more dress ups and she said yeah! lol

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

September 8th was Chris' and my 3rd anniversary! I can't believe it's already been 3 years! The day before I headed to Rachel's with my mom to go to her baby shower down in Bakersfield that night. The next morning (our anniversary) we left at about 7 am because I had a Dr.'s appt. at 11 and it was our anniversary so I wanted to be back to celebrate with Chris. It was fun and I was glad to be able to be at her shower down there! Her ward showered her with gifts, they were so generous!

For our anniversary we didn't do anything spectacular since it was a Wednesday. We just went to the Temple, went out to dinner and rented Date Night and watched it at home (Paisley spent the night at my mom's so we were alone). We were going to go to a movie but I was so tired from getting up so early (5:45 is too early!) and then driving 4 hrs so we just rented a movie instead. It was nice and relaxing! We're going to Vegas October 1st to really celebrate!

When I picked Paisley up from my mom's the next morning...I missed her!

So I don't have time to update each Summer event one by one so here's a quick overview of most of the things we've done or just cute pictures...

she loved the little shopping cart at Trader Joes. She loves pushing strollers and grocery carts

We have gotten Rite Aid ice cream cones a few times this Summer

we went to get ice cream to make ice cream pies for Labor Day and she thought she could carry a basket full of 6 cartons of ice cream lol

I've been baking lots for different family parties and she likes licking the beaters from my icing

She'll find anything sweet and eat it..these were sprinkles! lol

Uncle Scott came to visit!!!

She loves jumping on the trampoline at Grandma and Grandpa's...we've spent a lot of time on that tramp!

Everything is "mine!" she thought she was getting this trike at Target lol

Grandpa Pack made her these cool glasses on Labor Day lol She thought they were hilarious!

We met cousin Braden at Leatherbys for lunch with Nana and Sarah and his mom

She loves to accessorize...she came out of Aunt Pam's room looking like this!!

She loves we we's (movies) and she loves watching them in her chair lol

she's starting to try to dress herself...not working so great lol

She apparently realized that she needed her toenails painted because I walked into the bathroom and found her with the nail polish cap off, ready to paint her own toenails in the sink! I walked in and she said "mama, toes!"

luckily, she didn't make that big of a mess! (the dirt in the sink is from her feet lol)

The Cast

Back in the beginning of August Paisley got a cast on. She didn't break her arm or anything but her elbow kept coming out of socket so the bone Dr. said to put a cast on her to help stabilize it for 3 weeks!! It sucked but it's over with now so I'm happy! At first she hated it and asked for it "off!" but then she kinda got used to it and adapted pretty well to it. It sucked though because we couldn't go swimming!

Visiting Rachel!!

A couple weeks ago Paisley and I headed down to Bakersfield to visit Rachel while Trent went out of town for work. We had so much fun! She is on bed rest so mostly we just hung out...but since she was 32 weeks she cheated a little bit and went to get lunch and a quick trip to target (twice) lol Paisley was actually really good, considering we were inside most of the time (it was so hot down there so we didn't go outside, plus she still had her cast on so we couldn't go swimming at their pool). I love Rachel! We have a fun relationship...we always joke around and make fun of each other (in nice ways lol) I'm so excited for her and Trent to have a baby boy!! And I'm excited that we're due only 12 weeks apart from each other! Tate and Presley will be buddies! :)

Paisley on the ride there...she was so good!! I couldn't believe it! Although we did have to stop when we were about 45 minutes from Rachel's house...but it was perfect timing...it was dinner time plus we were just passing the Tulare outlets :)

when we got home she, of course, hung out with Scotty for a little bit! It was so cute...the babies got really quiet all of the sudden so we went to check on them (on the porch) and they were just sitting there like this, sipping their jamba juices!! ha ha

It's a Girl!!!

We found out a week ago (at 16 weeks) that we are having another girl!! I am so excited! Chris, on the other hand, is still getting excited I think lol He really wanted a boy but I told him we just need to try one more time! lol (He kinda wants to be done after this one but I really want one more) I am also really excited for Paisley...it'll be so fun to have a sister so close in age. They can share secrets, clothes, and I'm sure some fights unfortunately lol But then when they are older and getting married and having kids together it'll be so nice for them to have someone to go through it with. There's something special about sisters. I know I love and am so grateful for mine!

and this to go with the Big Sister shirt Paisley already had. I want her to wear it home from the hospital but newborn clothes were huge on Paisley so we'll see how big this little girl is when she gets here sometime late December/early January!
