What is the GYPSY RUN?

The East Coast Gypsy Run started in 2007. Inspired by the El Diablo Run a small group of like minded east coast motorcyclists meet up on the internets and planned a motorcycle run. 300 miles through the best of the east coast. Simple. We ran until 2022 and realized we needed a break. After a few years of some of the nicest emails telling us how much they missed the run, we thought it was a good time to bring it back. The best part of the run is meeting people the old fashioned way, broken down on the side of the road. 

WHO IS INVITED?

Everyone. As long as you have your shit together, enjoy being around human beings and like to ride.

WHAT TYPE OF BIKES WILL BE ON THE RUN?

If you like to ride and are not a dick (see Rule No. 1) you are welcome. I don’t care what you ride. No Style Guides here, Everyone is welcome.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

  1. Don’t be a dick. #dontbeadick

  2. There are no rain dates, Bring rain gear. we don’t quit.

  3. No fireworks at the campsite

  4. No burnouts at the campsite

  5. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated.

  6. Ride with your head. Find a pace you are comfortable with. It is not a race.

  7. Clean up after yourself at the campsite.

  8. Make sure your brake light works.

  9. We want everybody to have a great time, we just don’t want anyone to die while you are at it. Please do not drink and ride.

  10. If you’re unsure of how to deal with a challenging situation, please refer to rule number one.

accommodations

The Gypsy Run is a Camping Trip. Your Ticket includes your spot. These are first come first served. There is plenty of room for everybody and all the spots are equally comfortable. The Outpost Campground has everything you need to make it as easy as possible, (Showers, Restrooms Etc.) Still If you can’t stand the thought of camping we have a few cabins on site for rent.

The rough SCHEDULE

FRIDAY

  • 8:00: Meet Up  
  • 10:00 Kickstands up! Approximately 220 miles through the catskill mountains.
  • 12:00 Campsite Gates open.
  • 2:00 to 4:00 Arrive Campground  Check In. Set up Camp.
  • 4:00 – Until: Bar / Vending / Tattoos / Sign up for games / DJs Cold kicking phat beats till the kegs run dry

SATURDAY

  • We will have some suggested routes for another day of amazing riding or 
  • 4:00 – Until: Bar / Vending  / Tattoos / Sign up for games
  • 4:00 – 6:00PM: Racing, Games; Tugboat-Of-War, Tire toss, donut races, Etc.
  • 6:00PM: Ride in Bike show. Awards for being cool, High milage, and many more
  • 8:30-10:00PM: Music, food and fun till we run out

SUNDAY

  • Have a coffee.
  • Clean up your campsite
  • Have a great ride home
