post KBC fallout 2

it is now Wednesday.
And one of those increasingly frequent days when i thought it is 'yesterday'.
(E.g. i thought Tuesday was Monday and Wednesday was Tuesday, sort of thing)

busy i am, yea. It feels good to be busy. But i wanna get my "movielet" out!!!!!
Stupid mess ups by someone higher up in the chain of command is messing up my life down here.

Crap. But i will praise God anyway. At least, that is a choice i can decide with firm resolution upon. And death and doom to any who challenge this decision. GRiNZ

Anyway, got an email reply from one of the japanese chaps. Eriya, which is the japanese translation of Elijah. The cheerful lad was thanking me for everything... even as i was explaining all my actions, why i made the roses for the girls (cos i was not able to guide them through a shopping spree), why i gave a blazer to Yoshi (cos he lost his HP) [after i borrowed it, he misplaced it, so... i am indirectly to be blamed, from my perspective. Incidentally, it is the second time i am giving away a blazer which i have scarcely worn.] I hope he feels happier. It IS really such a distressing thing, losing his cell phone.

I love the chaps, i really do. We took puri kura together, 4 of the girls and myself. It was hilarious, as i was making funny faces throughout. The guys were funky. The CGL was like a loving elder brother, a 31 year old man, being a fashion consultant to his 13 year old member. I was impressed by the degree of love and care he exhibited, neither hurrying or critical, he walked with him and looked through the process, even as he tried on several pairs, the CGL did not seem the least impatient.

The other chap, Yoshi, was way cool. I think he looks like Jackie Chan. He has the suave air about him... something that i would give an arm and leg for (not my own arm and leg, of course). He is rather shy, but he desire lots to know about the Word of God and the lessons in the church service. After the Saturday service, he was enquiring of the CGL what was being taught, as he did not really understand English well.

I was advising them to do something which i never really practised... to trust the CGL and let him know when there is trouble. I realised though the passage of time and error that, that to talk to the CGL is the right thing to do... except that i do not particularly trust anyone right now...

That aside, I have interacted with their CGL and, at the point of that speech, i did not know he was their CGL. But i told them that, it was not easy being a CGL. I mean, imagine... looking up to God, walking point and looking back and pulling the stragglers along, helping the potentials to grow even more... and all that while keeping his/her eyes on God...

I think they got the point. I hope they did. God knows, i pray they did. I love the bunch of them... maybe not so much if i knew them better. But hey... if i could, i would upload my entire brain into theirs, for them to pick and choose and accelerate in their potential in God. If it helps in any way. They are tremendous, i tell you. I hope they continue to grow in loving unity, and in single-purposeness of heart, seeking God and His Kingdom to be manifested upon this earth, may revival break forth from the work and seed that God has planted in their hearts.

Well. Yea, i gave loads away. praise God... Had He not blessed me, i would not have been able to do any of the things i did.

And yes, i love the bunch of them. i miss them already.

nihon no nakama

and they are off again

the void after the flurry of activities seems to rendered life... lifeless.

It's like, the feeling of watching high speed drama on high definition plasma TV, and immediately switching to black and white 'i love lucy' on a TV of the 1950s.

i miss them already.

you can't lead those that you fear

About Me:
As a man thinks... so is he.

therefore... think.. what kind of a person am i..?

But what you think of me, may not be what i think i am... so what you think do not really matter then.. or does it?

***max is playing with your mind again***

Who I Want to Meet:
can communicate effectively
well articulated person display applied thought and wisdom

beauty is worthless without character
character brings forth grace and nobility

Strong resolve, unwavering loyalty, responsible, fearless valour
creative, strong and versatile.

that is the sort of head turner that i look for.

Heartening

yes it was, the testimony of the Mount Aso. The Lord moves and is moving...

but this is nothing...

Watch, for next year, God moves in a greater measure in Japan

Watch, again i say, WATCH!

kindness

the cafe owner looked up.

There he was again. Unshavened and likely unwashed, the unkempted man stood as he always did, next to the corner table outside the shop.

He glanced at the customer there, looked into the cafe, a forlorn expression in his eyes. A while later, he turned and walked away, the slump of his shoulders expressed his sadness.

The next day, the same man was there again. It had been weeks already and the cafe owner already knew what to expect. Ignoring the strange behaviour, he busied himself, preparing for the lunch time crowd.

The door opened, causing the little bell to ring. He looked up and saw the poor man walking in. His shirt was torn in several places, the sweat gleamed on his dusty forehead... was it THAT hot outside? This man must have been on the streets for a long time already, doubtlessly jobless, definitely penniless.

The poor man looked at the cafe owner behind the impeccably neat counter. He asked, voice shaking as the question came out haltingly, "Good morning sir... i can't pay you, but... can i have a cup of coffee please?"

The cafe owner was surprised, but his face betrayed no emotions. He studied the man carefully. The poor man shifted uneasily, under the scrutiny. After what seems like eternity to the poor man, the cafe owner asked,"shouldn't you be asking for something to eat?"

"i walked passed you cafe many times and i smell the delicious aroma of the coffee and i really hope i could taste it." was the unusual reply.

The cafe owner said "sure". The pauper watched, not really believing his eyes, as the boss made the coffee. He neither stint on the coffee powder nor was there even a hint of grudging obligation as he made the coffee in the same style he did for the past many years.

In a minute or so, the cafe owner handed him the mug of coffee. Holding the mug carefully, as though fearing the mug may somehow vanish into thin air, the poor man gratefully sipped from the mug.

Almost too soon, he finished the drink. Thanking the boss profusely, he carefully replaced the empty mug on the counter and was about to leave.

The boss ask him, "would you like something to eat?". The question surprised the penniless man. His eyes darted to the confectionery counter. He looked at the pastries longingly and he looked away saying "thank you, it's ok".

The boss asked again,"are you sure?"

Before the poor man could reply, his stomach protested. The cafe boss immediately asked "which one would you like?"

The man pointed with a shaking finger at the round chicken pies on display... "can i have one of those please?" The cafe owner replied "Sure, have a seat."

The poor man sat at the nearest table. It had been many days since he had something to eat. His apologetic manner, his eyes looking down... he was embarassed to be there.

A few minutes later, a single note sounded from the oven, indicating that the reheating process had ended. Before the poor man could react, the boss walked over, a piping hot chicken pie on a fresh, clean plate in one hand, cutlery and serviette in the other.

He served the penniless man the same way he served the other customers. As he ask the man to dig in, the cafe owner saw tears streaming from his eyes.

So So So... the maxie is on the
friendster-thingy...
i knew the max since '97 when the world
was a different place. Always Eating
Talking Idling (AETI) was what we did,
and the "81" was where we stayed, along
with Manny and the Lau. Little did we
know the blood, sweat and AVTAG that
was to follow. Such youthful innocence
lost to "Huey and the squirrel"
ok, enuff history....
Now abt maxie :

The maxie is like the rose in pile of
shite..or other way, i forget.
But seriously, Maxie is often
misuderstood, pple think he is crazy
but he be actually quite ok, he just
deals with common life issues in super-
spectacular ways.
Maxie be the most super IN-YOUR-FACE
type person in the sg, possibly the
world.
a friend like him appear only once in a
lifetime..
You get nothing but 100% pure honesty,
with a generous side serving of truth
and a dash of preachness
If all hell really breaks loose, Maxie
will be the first in line to hold back
whatever comes out..either that or go
to sleep..
so there you have it, Maxie in a
nutshell( not that he is a nut of coz)
Oh yes, He is still Single and
Available at time of writing.
So ladies, please form an orderly
queue..
ok, hope this helps ur chances with da
babes..
see ya...

new beginning

well... it's about time

unofficially, i am the technical manager of a company.

officially, my title is "Field Engineer", though i personally prefer to be... engineering the field of some financially well endowed beautiful female homo sapien who is romantically interested in me... yet, it was not meant to be. Thank GOD...

jokes aside, this is a, well... technically anyway, an upgrade for me.

But being an engineer in a company of (currently) 4 staff, including my Operations manager, the organisation chart is both flat and uninspiring, to say the least. 4 staff, sans my director.

1, operations manager
2, lab engineer - field engineer
1, the cust care engineer

as you can see from the arrangement, i am 2nd in the pecking order, along with 1 other guy... with 1 junior.
wow.

but look on the bright side... i am working in a new environment... pay raise, friendly people... what could go wrong??

plenty, my dear.

i am now required, more than ever, to be finely detailed and politically well-behaved. I am now fronting customers and also representing the company to various organisations to which our products will be sold to. I am also to become politically savvy, as a potential threat to the company has surfaced... none other than one of my ex-bosses.

whilst i am indebted to him for the previous appointment, it is nonetheless a noteworthy note that, this individual, for the sake of his personal interest and vendetta, sacrificed me, my professional reputation, by removing a critical key component of my logistics system, causing major reccurring tracking problems leading to my loss of credibility in that environment.

where i do not harbor any evil god-forsaken intention of revenge (praise God), i am, however, obligated to act and advise my manager to the best of my ability, for the interest of the company (company earns $, i keep job. company closes, i lose job. no job = no cash. simple math that encourages me to act in the best interests of my company).

I spoke as i ought to and did not utter a false word with respect to my communications with, as well as my history and understanding of this man. Anyway, for the curious (and gossip mongers), the deal that this man proposed didn't work out. I am somewhat relieved, as 1,001 things may have gone wrong, could go wrong, if we did close the deal.

Please understand, to me, work is work, if there is a sales to be closed, and there is no foreseeable negative reprecussion to the company, i will still advise to go for it... even though i do not like him. i have learnt, slowly and maybe a little late, to work for the best interests of the company.

As Fabian, friend and somewhat of a mentor says, work is work. the company employs me and pays me... even if the supervisor tells me to sit outside the toilet and do nothing, i will do it. because, from 7am to 5pm, the time is working time, the company paid me for it.

wise words... something that many of us ought reflect upon. as most of us had, at some point in time or other, skived off on the job in one way or another.

anyway, life has picked up somewhat... still having a shaky relationship with my UPLINK... not too happy about it, but it's improving.

been reading samurai literature again... and this is much better written than the rest so far.
Read some parts of "Purposed driven life".
reading up on the 6 Sigma thingy....
and the 'life's little instruction book".

and the Lord is overclocking my brains... i got enough stuff in my grey compartment for
1 movie
2 documentary series
3 animation series, 1 working in the development phase.

please do, i beg thee, entreating you earnestly, if you know anyone who is keen to act in a production, small scale, free of charge.... let me know... before my brain explodes in a gooey mess and the graveyard gets enriched (again).

por favor.... gracias, everybody.

Study and revel

it was a saying that, one looks for loyal ministers in the homes of filial sons.
i find that to be a wise saying.

for the matter of revel... it is said that much food lies in the fallow grounds of the sluggard.
it is to my shame and chagrin that, i am that sluugard.
Much books and materials are in my library, but i had not taken the time to learn and finish reading them.

In conjunction with Pastor Phil's message lately, it states that 'garbage in, garbage out', it is only proper that i make utmost effort to continue pursuit of excellence and finish the books that i have bought.
