Our Little Gamers

Ethan has been really big into playing Lego Star Wars on the X-Box. He is so proud of himself the other day he made it through an entire level all by himself.

And of coarse Amie has to imitate everything Ethan does. So she will grab a controller and climb onto the bed so she can sit next to him.

It is so cute to see how intent Ethan can get when he is playing his games.

Halloween Fun

Hey everyone,

Well finally getting around to posting our Halloween pictures. Here is a cute one of Curious George(tte) and The Man in the Yellow hat. I am really proud of the yellow costume. Due to the lack of available yellow suits out there I had to make the suit myself. Ethan was rather funny about it. When I got to making the Yellow hat a little more yellow(you will see in other photos). He asked mom did you really make this hat. I said yes I did. He then replied Even with Grandma gone! I am surprised too that is actually turned out.


This is the picture of the infamous Yellow Hat. I thought I did a pretty good job for the first and hopefully only Yellow Hat I will make.

We all had a great time going out trick or treating. Amie wasn't quite sure about it until she realized that Candy was going into her bag. Then she was all for it.

Hey I took this photo on my cell phone today and I absolutely love it. she is just to cute. she wants to be like her brother oh..so badly. I told her it was time to leave for church and she ran to get a hat so we could go.

Ethan got a super cool new camera from his Grandma and Grandpa He loves it in the first 15 min he took about 30 pictures. It is an awesome camera that is kid tough and easy to use. He loves it! Here is some of his Fancy work.

Here is the cake I made for the party I think it turned out pretty cute. Ethan loved it.
Here is Emma, Corgan, and Leim. They thought the cake looked pretty tasty.


Ethan thought the corn maze was a lot of fun. He wanted to lead the way through the maze and actually found a shortcut out the side.

Hi everyone!

Today was Ethan's 4th birthday! I can't believe he is already 4. We had a fun day, first was Ethan's birthday then we went to the pumpkin patch and finally spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa and Teagan, Ethan's cousin. The party was a Thomas the Train party Ethan is really big into trains and cars like almost every boy his age. He informed me he would like a train cake so I had fun decorating it.

Amie loved going to the pumpkin patch. She calls the pumpkins balls. To her anything that is round is a ball. She also liked sitting in the wagon's to hold the pumpkins, the only thing that got her to get out was seeing grandpa coming. We got the pumpkins home and set them on a bench and Amie decided, since they are balls, to roll them off the bench Nathan and I were both in Ethan's room when we heard the thud of them hitting the floor. Luckily it wasn't a long drop and the floor was somewhat padded with the "fine quality" of carpet here in these apartments.

Starting out

Hey everyone!

I just figured out how to get our family blog going. I always enjoy checking out the other blogs from all of you. so I thought I would let you all know what is going on with us. Well Ethan has his 4th birthday coming up next weekend. Which he is way excited about. He is going to have a Thomas birthday party.
Nathan is staying busy with work and school. He has applied to the City, County, and the State. We have also seen a specialist at Virginia Mason in Seattle and is going to have a procedure done to give him the ability to hear from his bad ear through bone conduction. It is called the Baha system. He is really excited about this.
Amie is a little Monkey. I though Ethan was a busy baby. Man did I have it easy with him. She is always climbing on the tables and getting into everything. She thinks she is so clever. Ethan is so funny with her.
I am staying busy also. I have started going to Jazzersize in the mornings with Natalie. She is such a trooper to stick with me. She calls me every morning and tells me to get up and go. I do enjoy it though. I am also the new Family Support Coordinator in my husbands unit here in town. I am getting to plan my first Christmas party this year. That should be fun.
