La noche de los museos

Last night it was the "Night of the Museums" an event incorporated recently to the city's agenda. It is the night when all the city museums are open and free from 7.00 pm to 2.00 am.

Anoche fue la "Noche de los Museos" un evento recientemente incorporado a la agenda de la ciudad. Es la noche cuando todos los museos de la ciudad están abiertos y son gratis desde las 7.00 pm a 2.00 am.

I had to help with the exhibition of the school's Palaeontology collection, where we showed part of the material we use to work and for classes.

A mi me tocó ayudar en la muestra de parte de la colección de Paleontología de la Facultad, donde mostramos parte del material que usamos para trabajar y para las clases.

Later on, we went over to the "Casa de Yrurtia" museum, which is the house of this couple of artists filled with their original furniture and their work.

Más tarde fuimos al museo "Casa de Yrurtia", la casa de una pareja de artistas, llena de sus muebles originales y su trabajo.



Walking back home, around 1.30 am we decided to pass by the "Sarmiento Historical Museum" the house of this ancient argentinian polititian... more antiques.

Caminando de vuelta a casa, alrededor de la 1.30 de la mañana, decidimos pasar por el "Museo Histórico Sarmiento", la casa de este viejo político argentino... más antigüedades.

Scott came back from the States today and he brought me back these fancy cupcakes from the brand new Stanford's Sprinkles cupcakes shop... yummy!!

I have been thinking for a while now about this, but it is time for a break from Gmt-3...
I don't know if I will come back or if something new will arrive... who knows... but I need this time off...
I leave you with a photo of the tree that a friend of mine grew from a seed and she was willing to turn it to a bonsai... after she heard me talking about torturing plants, she decided to give me 2 of her projects, named "4" and "6". After having them for a couple of years, different sizes of planters and three different houses I thought it was time to find them their final home...
They are now two young Ombu (Phytollaca dioica), living happily in the yard of my farm, and I can not express how I feel every time I see them bigger...

Estuve pensando largo tiempo sobre esto, pero creo que es hora de tomarme un descanso de Gmt-3...
No se si voy a volver o si algo nuevo vendrá... quién sabe... pero necesito un tiempo...
Los dejo con una foto del árbol que una amiga mía me dio, lo hizo germinar desde semilla y cuando estuvo por convertirlo en bonsai... después de haberme escuchado sobre torturar plantas, decidió regalarme 2 de sus proyectos, llamados "4" y "6". Luego de tenerlos por varios años, diferentes tamaños de macetas y 3 casas diferentes pensé que era hora de encontrarles su hogar...
Ahora son dos jóvenes Ombu (Phytollaca dioica), que viven felices en el parque de mi casa en Córdoba, y no les puedo explicar lo que siento cada vez que los veo más grandes...
