I'm a little behind but this post is for Isaac's 4th birthday which was the 4th of this month... I actually flew home from my cousin Travis's wedding in Illinois on the 4th so we just acted like his birthday was the next day so I could be there the whole day...he never new any different :) I made lemon scones for his breakfast (at his request), we took him to Target to pick out his birthday gift (we knew he wanted tractors but weren't sure which one's he wanted the most).. Funny that this task would be near impossible for Brennan with so many different choices.... But not for Isaac, he found the aisle he was looking for, took about 2 minutes to look over his choices and put them in the cart and that was that :) He got to come home and play with his new bull dozer and excavator, then had his favorite bug macaroni and cheese and took a little nap. That afternoon we took him to Bounce U, an indoor place with a couple of rooms with many inflatable bouncers in them.... Nona (Joe's mom) and Talia (cousin) even came to meet for the fun! The kids had a blast and wore themselves out which was an added bonus for mom and dad! We ended up having dinner at the mall as many of Isaac's pics were closed since it was Labor day.... He dined on Rubios and then got to pick his favorite sugar cookies from Paradise Bakery for dessert... All in all it was a great way to celebrate Isaac's big day!!! Can't believe he's already 4!!!

First Birthday!!
Can't believe my baby turned one last week!!! This is such a fun age and she has developed such a fun personality!! Keeley is almost walking, she walks pushing toys and along furniture and has taken up to 3 steps before falling down... I know it won't be long! She is a great little eater and LOVES cheese, quesadillas, macaroni and cheese, you get the point!!! She can even say and sign cheese :) She gives some very serious looks at times, especially to strangers who try to make her smile when we are out and about... Her brothers on the other hand can always make her laugh and smile. She loves to be up on the couch or the bed with her brothers, she gets quite upset when she feels "left out" of their fun. Keeley is just finally consistantly sleeping all through the night... thank you God!!! She is very vocal when she really likes or doesn't like something and the girl has some serious VOLUME!!! She loves to shake her booty and her arms to the music (her teacher at daycare says she loves High School Musical soundtrack)...oh no, here it begins!!
We are so blessed to have this sweet little girl, she's so much fun and I am so lucky to get to continue watching her grow!

First Grader
Brennan started first grade a couple of weeks ago already!! He is loving his class and teacher which is a very good thing! He is so good at reading already it amazes me, he's learning Spanish also which I love! He even had his first spelling test last week, which he proudly told me he got "straight A's on"! I think this is going to be a great year for him and I'm excited to watch him learn!!
Isaac is still home with me on my days off and two days a week he's in a preschool/daycare class at the same school as Brennan and Keeley.. It;s great having them all at the same place. He just got moved up to the 4 year old classroom and is very excited to have the same teacher Brennan had a couple of years ago! He loves doing all the art projects and bringing them home for Joe to put in his office or for me to bring to work. He also LOVES their playground and has been known to get upset with us if we go to pick him up and he's on the playground....he wants to stay and play longer!
Keeley is still in the infant classroom two days a week and she loves it there also. She's generally quite the momma's girl and she lunges to be put down when I drop her off, she loves the toys and her other little friends! Once she starts walking she'll be moved to the next classroom also... She's getting close too, she can stand behind a push toy and walk for a few steps, she's definitely a busy little girl getting into everything. Her new favorite thing is to say "no no no" while shaking her head back and forth.... I guess she's heard that a time or too. She's also started saying "go", mostly when she see's Zeus.... I guess we say that to him a little too much.... Funny what they pick up on!
We're just getting back into a routine at home after lazy summer....It is good to be on a schedule. I think the kids do better... Now we just have to wait for some cooler weather... Isaac has been asking to go to the part for a couple of weeks now..... No fun when all the playground equipment will scald you if you touch it :)
