We were having fun hanging out on Mom's porch last Sunday. Had to post some pictures of pretty flowers and other fun stuff.... more is blooming every day.

5 years is still not long enough

February 2nd marked 5 year's since Vern/Dad, left us. It was a hard anniversary to get through because it happened to be the exact day as well. (Monday).

Debra and Janna had been wanting to do a balloon launch for awhile and we kept forgetting it. So we all met for dinner that night and they went down to the party store to get us all a balloon to write a message on for dad and then we went outside and launched them into the night sky.
It was a perfect night to do it... no wind and clear... they went straight up into the heavens. Very appropriate and perfect tribute to him

Merry New Years.... (belated Christmas)

Things got busy and we've all forgot to update Mom's blog... we'll repent next year.
