Back to Civilization

We had a great Summer in our new surroundings.  So happy to be back in a bigger city where there are tons of things to do - including an Open Gym time at our city community center.  Also had fun going to city waterparks, playgrounds and the zoo!

Rainbow Connection

My dad's property has a killer view - he calls it "The Ridge" because it sits up high and you can see for quite a ways.  We had a family day there this summer, and toward the end of the day, it rained all around us (not actually on us)... and this rainbow appeared.  After I took the pic, it turned into a TRIPLE rainbow!  Never seen that before... beautiful.

Minneha-ha-ha Bikes

Had a great day celebrating Mom & Dad's 41st Anniversary this August riding these snazzy little bikes.  They were much harder to get going than they appear!  I hadn't laughed that hard - or burned so many calories - in a while as we tried to pedal down the sidewalk.

The lovebirds!  Happy Anniversary you two!  41 years is quite the accomplishment by the way!

And... BLINK!  Just like that my first baby is headed off for Kindergarten. She is going 1/2 day mornings.

 OK, so this is NOT typical... but I was making dinner one night and heard Caleb fussing.  After wrapping up whatever I was doing quickly, I came around the corner to find him out like a light, like this!

Those sweet, little inviting eyes.  Sigh...

 We took a trip down to New Orleans to see our friends Diana and Jessica in February, who were awesome to let us ALL stay with them and entertained the kids.  xoxox

And of course, snuggling Walker is a must before bedtime.

OUR NEW HOUSE!

 It's official... WE'RE FINALLY MOVING "HOME" TO MINNESOTA!  Yippee!  This is our latest purchase.  Can't WAIT to move in... it's a great house, and we're excited to put a little TLC into it.  Should be there in early May. Steve will be starting his new job this Summer, and we can't wait for a fresh start and the chance to be closer to our family and long-time friends.  If you think of us, please pray our transition goes smoothly.  God's already sold our house here, which is a major blessing.  To have seen Him work first-hand like He has is a mind-boggling experience.  We love Him all the more for the ways He's laid out our path to get there...
