Christmas morning

Carter was getting into opening presents by the end.


Ethan knew what to do.

This is how carter woke up... Not ready to open presents. Didn't take him long to figure out what was going on though.

Christmas eve

The best Carter would cooperate.

Hannah of course was good the whole time patiently waiting for her brothers to stop being so silly.


We opened 2 presents Christmas eve, PJs for everyone and new Christmas ornaments. Ethan got a skier ornament and dinosaur PJs.

Santa and reindeer

All the kids were really excited to see Santa and sat right on his lap, but then were all shy and couldn't think of much to ask for Christmas. Good thing Santa came through anyway and brought them everything they wanted.








We saw Santa at St Augustine's Christmas house this year. It was amazing how much Santa knew about us! Like he has a spy!


And Santa brought one of his reindeer with him and the kids got to pet him also, carter on the other hand didn't think much of the reindeer.

Hannah and Carter

Hannah and Carter do a pretty good job of getting along, she reads books to him


He uses his power tools to try to fix Hannah's book


And as long as they aren't fighting over the iPad they will just sit and watch movies together.

Thanksgiving Weekend

 With a nice warm day, we headed to the zoo Friday night (along with 10,000 other people); Carter pointing out the elephants to us

 We actually went back into the theatre where Santa was- there was no line to see him; so the kids were able to get their requests in early this year. (we couldn't take pictures with Santa though, so you'll have to use your imagination)

Or posing for pictures; we had a nice weekend hanging around home and have decided with all the rain we've had this week Kevin won't be farming again until we're in Florida in January!!

Long week

After a week of kids being sick

Which included a night's stay here (Carter with croup, not working)

And daddy busy here all week

It was very nice to finally see 3 goofy smiling kids today (and only a little coughing)

Happy 2nd Birthday Carter!

Tuesday was Carter's birthday so last Sunday we celebrated; monkey cake for the little monkey

He's admiring the monkey's and picking out which one he would like to eat

And making a very big mess with his cake

He required a sink bath and clothes change before we could open presents.

Then Monday was Columbus day so the kid's and I went to the zoo and Bass Pro Shop for the day,

tuesday Grandma by the Shop took Carter and spoiled him all day for his birthday and then we stopped to get ice cream cones on the way home, he was so messy he again required a bath and change of clothes and the car seat cover had to get washed also. Pretty great second birthday for the not so little baby brother!!!
