The Zoo

Every winter, the Hogle Zoo has a free day once a month.  A group of my friends decided that we should take our kids and go.  It was so crazy busy but so much fun as well.  We packed a lunch to eat at the zoo and a few of us carpooled so it made the drive better too.  The boys loved seeing all the animals and loved hanging out with friends.

Valentine's Day 2014

We don't usually do a lot for Valentines Day.  The kids have a party at school and hand out valentines to their friends.  We get the kids a box of chocolates and I make pink heart shaped pancakes.  This year, Montana brought each of the boys a big heart cookie and wrote them each a note.  He left dark chocolate kisses on the table for me with seven roses.  He bought a dozen roses and then took 5 of them over to our widowed neighbor, Grandma Bev.  I don't mind sharing with her!

Tanner also had a party with his preschool group.  He had fun playing games and decorating cookies.  He was able to decorate enough cookies so everybody in the family could have one.  He loved all the attention he got at his party!

BYU Dinosaur Museum

It was time for a Cub Scout field trip so we decided to take the boys to the BYU Dinosaur Museum.  We have been a few times but it was even more fun with friends!  They looked at everything at least twice and enjoyed seeing the exhibits with people other than their siblings and parents.

Oh Tanner!

The other night we put Tanner to bed.  He was messing around and we kept getting after him to go to sleep.  Finally we went in to check on him and realized he had pulled out a sharpie and had colored all over his bed, his sheets, his pillowcase, and his face.  I got after him but had to get a couple of pictures before washing it off.  Luckily, he had just done it so it came off pretty easily.

The Kitchen

Montana was getting frustrated with not having enough space in our house.   So he decided to take out the island/counter in our kitchen.  It most definitely opened up the kitchen!  And I even got to pick out a dishwasher to put in the hole!  The rest of the remodel will have to wait but for now I'm not always washing dishes!
