Which parent does the 3 yr old drive mad first? You would think the dad, but not this time!

(No laughing at my spelling or grammar. English has never been my best subject!)

So, I had to work late tonight because we had an "Active shooter training". Which, on the first role play of trying to hide from the shooter, my door didn't lock and I was just sitting in a chair in my office and BANG - who's dead? ME, because I didn't check my door, like my gut told me to and it wasn't locked. Bob (the shooter/sheriff) and I had a good laugh about it, but sheesh!

Anyway, I come home from work and get here about 8:15. Who is going mad because he can't handle the girls for a couple of hours....haha! So, I harrass and make fun of the husband because he can't handle the girls. I run Kenzie to the store to get some stuff she needs for school and we take Kamryn with us since Nate is already going mad. Who comes home from the store 40 minutes later going mad herself? ME! First, BANG, I'm dead, and second, AHHHH, I'm going mad because of a 3 yr old and taking her to the store!!! Does life get easier as the children get older? I sure hope so!

Kenzie is a good kid and doesn't drive me mad, but she never acted like this as a 3 yr old. Kenzie was sweet and polite with a touch of fire and ice, but only occasionally.

Love that kiddo, but she is a handful. I sure hope this is not a premonition of what is to come in the future. Let's just say that I am not looking forward to 10 years from now! Although, I'll also have a 20 yr old daughter to assist me when I may reach the end of my rope!

What's been happening in the land of Evans? Ugh, I can't remember!

Not much really. Time flies by when your having fun...ok not really fun all the time, but time flies by when life exhausts ya. I know I complain about exhaustion all the time, but I wouldn't have anything to talk about if I didn't complain about it!!

Makenzie is going to school and has Choir Monday and Wednesday after school and then she has Girl Scouts and a drama class on Friday afternoons. I am really glad she wants to be involved in something. I am hoping one of these days she'll want to do sports, but I'm not sure that is going to happen! Kamryn Marie is well.....my little Tazmanian Devil! I love that little munchkin. I love both of my girls! They keep life moving and shaking! Can't have 5 minutes to chill. We gotta be doing something - painting, coloring, reading, shopping, eating, puzzling, gaming, walking, biking.....on and on and on!

This summer I don't know even what we did. I wasn't too good with the camera this summer! We had 3 family weddings. Nate's brother, Trent, and sister, Lisa, both got married within the last couple of months, as did my little brother, Brady. They all married great people! We are all very happy for them.

We got 1 camping trip in before it got into hunting season. Ya, no camping once the hunters are out! I really don't need anyone getting shot!

BACK TO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY!!!

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujahhhhhhhh!!! So sick of hearing "I'm bored! What can I do? Nobody can play mom. I hate my life!" HAHA!!! Have fun at school kiddo, see ya later!

4TH of JULY in Delta!

We went to Delta over the 4th of July weekend. There were 25 of us at my parents house - 13 adults, 1 teenager and 11 kids between the ages of 10 and 3 months. Here are some pictures from our fun trip:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Just wanted to wish all the ladies in my life a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I know some would say that it is insane that I am a mother due to the fact that I have no patience with anything and I occassionally say that I don't like children (times that the sarcasim in me is not very good!), but I am so greatful that I am a mother. I know we don't always feel appreciated, but I couldn't imagine my life without my kids and not being a mother. I thank all the mother's I have come in contact with in my life. I love and appreciate all of you for all you do.
