We took the girls to the carousel. Sweetie was very excited. But once we got there she got very scared and didn't want to ride (see the fear in her eyes as she looks at the carousel?).
Baby Dragon was super excited to ride. We brought her cousin Abby along. She and Abby really hit it off, too bad they live in different states!
This was definitely as pathetic as it looks.

When we left Sweetie threw a huge crying fit because she'd decided that she DID want to ride after all. She did not get to ride. Hopefully next time we go she'll get up the courage to ride
before it is time to leave! She did get to open her birthday present from Grandma L early. It was a princess book that plays music with pretend CDs. You can just see Baby Dragon's jealousy. It was a BIG hit.
Grandma L also bought her a red and black dress. Sweetie pulled it out and immediately said, "Boo-i-ful!" Here Baby Dragon and Abby played Blokus together:
