May The Blog Live On!

It is official! The blog has fallen to wasteside! Goodness where has the time gone? Or better yet where have I been? Oh ya know homeschooling 3 kids, taking care of our 5 bedroom home, sending Elliot back to Iraq (again) and last but not least welcoming our fourth gorgeous baby into the world! Since I last blogged time has just flown by! I am anxious to catch everyone up on all the wonderful blessings we have been enjoying! Give me time and slowly but surely we will be up and running again! May the blog live on!

One For The Books

Recently Jacquleyn had her very first ice cream sandwich. Ok well more like devoured her first ice cream sandwich. She was the classic messy baby and a picutre of such an occasion was a must! You will notice the first, ahem, out take. Little did I know that these pictures would go down in family history - - much to her dismay I am sure.

Ok well maybe they do fall down. Jacquelyn's first officiail goose egg. She learned the hard way not to run down the slope at the bottom of the driveway. Lesson learned is my guess.

Life Is Just A Walk In The Park

We could not resist a day out to enjoy the 90 degree Spring weather as we brace ourselves for the upcoming summer temperatures. We picniced at the local duck pond followed by an adventure in feeding the ducks. This was actually Jacquelyn's first go at duck feeding and she was more than excited to see the swimming feathered duck billed creatures. She spent a majority of her time calling them to her like she does our 80 pound lab. I think she had high hopes of taking one home. It is amazing how such a simple day at the park can be so much fun. Although big elaborate well planned trips are fun and exciting they sure make an easy going improtu walk in the park look like a . . . . walk in the park.

Play Ball!

After weeks of practice T Ball season is officially underway! Opening day at Lions Club Park was one for the books! All the little guys looked so darn cute in their little baseball pants and caps. Aiden had quite the cheering section! Our dear friends came out to cheer him on for his first game. Totally made his whole day! The Cougars are off to a great start to the season! #10 sure does have some skills. And the cherry on top . . . we have a really good looking coach!

A Model Citizen

I have a feeling it will not be long before the wall in Madelyn's room is filled with awards and medals. As if her straight A's were not enough, this week we put on our proud parent parent badges and watched Madelyn receive the Citizen of The Quarter Award! Following the ceremony they had a small little luncheon with cookies and punch to celebrate such an honor. Madelyn makes us so proud. She works so hard and is such a good example to those around her . . . including her younger siblings. At her last parent teacher conference her teacher while singing her praises made sure to tell us how all the other students love Madelyn. "Madelyn has no enemies, but she sure has lots of friends!" were his exact words. An intelligent, beautiful, social butterfly that is a model citizen . . sounds like a picture of perfection if there ever was one.
