Lucy attends Sunday school every week. She usually loves it. Her teachers are awesome and work really hard to make it fun and educational. One Sunday, the children's group leader invited in the missionaries to explain some things about what it's like being a missionary. For those of you who don't know, most missionaries are 19-21 year old young men, who teach about our church and our beliefs (mostly to adults). Well, their skills teaching to children apparently were not well-honed enough for Lucy's taste and certainly paled in comparison to the usual lessons given by the child-savvy children's group leaders. So, she's not one to keep things in. She sighs loudly in the middle of their presentation and exclaims, "This is boring". The young missionaries barely made it through their talk they were laughing so much. At least they've got good senses of humor when faced with a brutally honest 5 year old's opinion of them!

Albany's Pre-Christmas VFW Craft Fair on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 11am - 4pm. Located at the Sheehy Palmer VFW Post, 525 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY. It is on the right side of the street after passing the save-a-lot plaza as you're heading toward Delmar.

We will be selling our Guatemalan handmade crafts -- scarves, bracelets, purses, and will be taking pre-orders for our baby carriers!!! Please come by and buy for yourself or for your Christmas presents.

An Old Dog (34) Learning New Tricks. Levi and I went skating today. I was surprised that I could actually stay on the thing after all these years. I was never a "skater" but I was pumped that I discovered something I can still do with these old bones. I have no Tony Hawk aspirations, but I am excited to find a new hobby.
