Everyone who knows me knows she came by this face naturally, seeing as how this is the exact face I give people when I don't like what they are saying and I like for them to read all over my face I think they are crazy! haha, she obviously sees me giving this face and has copied it and now looks at me like this all the time... it's her Whatchu talkin about Willis face..

Merry Christmas! Here are some of our Christmas pictures! We go to see my family in Michigan in another week or so and are really looking forward to it! The girls are getting so big, talking and walking and doing and saying funny things. They love to point out their body parts, on themselves and on others. When you walk in the room they say "Hiiiiiii-eeee" wonder where they got the Michigan accent? :) They love pointing out pictures in books of items they know, and they love singing in their cribs from songs we heard during the day. I just love this stage, although they are testing us, seeing what they can get away with by just giving a "sweet, I'm cute" look. Not much, I'm used to that look, it doesn't fly. Just now I had to get onto Ava for pulling Ella's hair, she ran away and said "uh oh" because she knew what was about to happen! :) haha. I guess I am owed some naughty girls! My dad laughs and laughs at paybacks!

I love it when kids discover new things. This week Ella and Ava seem to be discovering how to say their animal sounds and snake and cow are their favorites! "ssss" says the snake and "mooo" says the cow. They walk around pointing out things and constantly chatting! I love it!

It just keeps getting better and better! :)

My little Red Heads!

So we never really realize how lucky we are to have 2 red headed babies until people remind us when we are out... with comments like... "awwwh, look at that hair, so pretty, aren't you lucky!" "They both have red hair, how rare!" "how sweet, you know red hair is going to be extinct soon right?" or my favorite, "where does the red hair come from?" I kinda didn't want a boy with red hair, maybe I shouldn't say that out loud just in case it happens one day, but I am ecstatic to have two girls with red hair. It is so beautiful and now everytime I see a red head I get so excited to think they might have long silky red hair! Ava has curly auburn hair and Ella has straight Red hair, they both have such beautiful red hair and the biggest blue eyes. I just feel so lucky! Now about their chick-let teeth... hmmm, what are we gonna do about these massive teeth that are coming in! :) hahaha

Today the girls got Reading Chairs from my parents from Pottery Barn. I will post pictures of the chairs, but not the actual ones because we haven't uploaded the picture yet. My parents bought them for Christmas for the girls and they absolutely LOVE them. They both just jump in and out of the chairs and read their books in them and they just think they are hot stuff because these are THEIRS! :) It's adorable and by far the BEST gift ever! Thanks Grammy and Papa!

Getting so big

The girls are constantly getting so big and doing such funny things. They are talking like crazy and want to know what everything is. They know if they are doing something wrong they will get a spanking or have to sit in the corner for 10 seconds, so sometimes they just walk over to the corner and sit there! haha! They do all the hand motions to lots of songs and they just recently have an expanded play area b/c Daniel and I took down our dining room table and gave in to our children! We figured while they were younger we'd make it into a "play area" and then get the table back when they were older! They have really enjoyed the wide open spaces and my parents have bought them reading chairs for Christmas, so they will really enjoy sitting in those and looking at their books. Next month we will be flying to Michigan to see my family and it will be our first plane ride with the girls, so wish us much luck. I am sure if they can make a 22 hour car drive they can do a 3 hour plane ride!

We went to a wedding last weekend and Ella and Ava had such a good time, they sat so well and both enjoyed walking all over the dance floor! :) Ava was hard to keep up with, she was taking off and running towards the stage, she was drawn to it, hopefully that means nothing for her future! :)

Push

The girls love pushing eachother in this stroller! Ella especially loves to be pushed and Ava especially loves to push the stroller! They also love to stop and give kisses to eachother!

So Ella and Ava have been talking and growing like crazy lately! They are into everything and saying/repeating everything. Ella's newest thing is doing the hand motions to Little Einsteins. She knows all the parts of when to pat on the rocket ship and when to say blastoff. She says, "bat, bat, bat." for pat, pat, pat, it is just too cute. Ella also has her hair long enough for piggy tails. I LOVE IT. this is the cutest little red headed piggy tails you've ever seen! I can't wait till Ava has hair long enough on top to do this. Ava has a mean lookin mullet of curls in the back, but not enough on top for piggy tails yet!

They are keeping me very busy these days and playing really well with each other. They love to give kisses and hugs to each other and love to put things in containers and take them out.

We are just having the best time with them! New pictures will be posted soon!

Swings!

Ella and Ava enjoyed going to the park this past week. It was their first time on the swings and apparently we have 2 fans! Ella's hair is growing so long, but it has started to stick up in the back so Daniel calls her "Chicken Hawk" cause it it like a little chicken mowhawk on the back of her head! :) So in these pictures you can see her hawk and how much they both love the swing. Ava was laughing so hard I figured her stomach would hurt! Ella was kicking her legs and just loving it, they both really had a blast when we put them in the same swing, of course, they love to be near eachother!

Lately Ella has started to lay on top of her toys that she doesn't want Ava to take from her. It is so funny to watch her being so assertive! I just encourage it because she usually either lets Ava take her toys and then cries.. or she whines until she can get it back.. so I'd much rather her start to stand up for herself! :)
