The Baptism

Hey everyone,

This is Meagan.


I wanted to inform you that i am getting baptised on November 29th, 2008 at 4 pm. At the Santa Clara Stake Center, St George Ut


I know that some or most of you might have already heard from my father.


He likes to talk about it. lol


I wanted to invite anyone who might want to attend.


It would mean a great deal to me to have my family there to support me in this life changing decision.


I know that this date is during thanksgiving weekend, and it might be hard for you to attend.


That is fine with me.


If you have other obligations I understand.





My dad is putting me in the water....haha...yeah just the thought of cold water and a white dress makes me kinda nervous lol.


But I am very proud of my father for changing or rearrange his life.


He makes me cry every time I talk to him about our decision.


Anywho..


I asked my father to baptise me and a couple of people down here in St. George to help in the confirmation.

Trek to Nauvoo

If anyone Didn't already know,Gramma,Angie,Sara,Alan,Becky&Scott,and I
went to Nauvoo this past weekend. We were there for the Sealing of
David and Beth and there two (and a half)children. I was not able to
attend,the Sealing however, I am told it was a wonderful experience
for all. I did have the awsome opportunity to again walk the streets of
Nauvoo.Seeing the temple for the first time,was boost to my spirit.
I enjoyed my visit, our family means everything to me. I would like to
thank everyone who made it possible for me to attend. I am deeply
grateful. And a big "Shout-Out" to Donna,once again she came through.
Again Congratulations to Dave,Beth and fam.

WOWzers!!!

So Like I thought I should tell the family how I am doing.

In College I have made A's and B's YEAH ME!!

English I got an A and an A in math as well... it was WAY easy.

Then I took Biology, Medical Terminology and Intro. to Vet. Tech.... they were harder but in biology I got an B on my final and a 85% B in the class. in Terminology I got an A on my final and an A in the class that was a hard class (because I couldn't say or spell any of the words... it was like some one was speaking latin to me) in my Intro. to Vet. Tech. i got an A on my final and an A in the class!!! go me. that class was easy and I loved the teacher...

Some Things I have Learned so far in college are:

Home work isn't a big deal but you still need to turn it in before the final. (that is my favorite part... that and the fact that there is hardly any homework)

I learned what Leiomyositis, hematopoietic, Onychomycosis, Hemangioma, Granuloma (and I have one of those) and many MANY other words mean.

I learned how to properly give a dog and a cat a both and how to trim their nails... AND i have practiced on my cat.

I leaned about some different breeds of dogs and some of this I already knew.

I leaned how to restrain a Cat or a Dog... no matter the size.

I have leaned about Basset hounds (a girl in our class works with basset hounds who need recueing... most of them are really bad... and have lots of problems)

I have leaned my Teacher HATES cats and believes they are wild animals that alows us to feed them. And given the opertunity they will turn on you and kill you.

Right Now

I am still Working at Ross and I am looking for another job.

I have gotten used to my boss... and even gotten used to her. and leaned many things from her... ONE being i nevver want to be like her... she scares me. AHHHHH but There are some things about her that I like... one being she care First and most about "HER" store!!!!

I currently go to school 3 times a week... Mon. Tus. and Wed.

Marie is at BYU and i miss her already... and i can't wait till thanksgiving when she can hang out with me.

Josh and His Wild Bunch

Hi everyone. I must admit that I blog a lot, but it's all on my Some of This and Some of That blog and also on our own blog. Josh is still working in Mesquite and he's gone a lot. I just stay home and take care of my kids, the neighborhood kids, and a several other kiddo's. It's a zoo at our house.

J.D. turned 6 this summer and is in the 1st grade. He's so big, time goes by so fast. He's a handsome little guy and he loves school. He is also very social. He's a good kid.

Tyson is almost 4 and he started preschool this year. He loves Spiderman and thinks he is Spiderman. He is all boy and he's a litlt mini Josh. He looks just like Josh, but with blonde hair.

Piper is 16 months old and as wild as a monkey. She is climber and she's all over the place. She's also very tough. She has to be with J.D, and Tyson to contend with. She's beautiful and such a joy!

We will try to be better about staying in touch. Love ya!!

The Yunk Happenings

Hey all, just wanted to update you a little on how we are doing. I have been working as a LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) for about 5 months and am loving every minute of it. Eric is still pluging away at computers but has recently decided that he is going to go to medical school and will start his pre-med in the Spring. Other than work and soon to be school, there is not much else going on in our little lives. We love you all hope that good times are finding you!!!

Phone Numbers and Birthdays

Okay Everyone.  I think I have come up with a way to do a phone number and a birthday list.  So, if each family will email me their phone numbers and the birthdays of their family, I will get it together and get it going.    I have found a way to do PDF's on the blog and I can do it in a way that will keep it from being broadcast across the internet.  So here goes nothin'.....

Here is a starting example of what I will be doing.  As you can see I am missing quite a few birthdays.  So get them to me.  I will probably try a couple of other things to, but we will just have to see how it goes.  And this site has the ability to make it private, so you won't be able to search for it.

Aww Im sorry I missed the wedding. And youre right..seeing these great pictures makes me wish I didnt miss the wedding. Do I even KNOW these people!

I want to thank you all for the wonderful job you did on the wedding photos. We've had so much fun seeing them with our family! I think you picked the best moments of the wedding day, and this is somthing we really enjoyed.

We have such a great family sometimes I just wanna kiss you all.

Graduation Day May 23rd 2008

To Alyssa:
Congratulations on your graduation
you have made it through high school.

All week long, she has been wailing…

“I can’t believe she is graduating!” I am shocked. Shocked also that another milestone marked her parent’s lives. Shocked that we are getting older.

The other day, I turned to James as he drove the car “can you believe ? our daughter is graduating?”

I can believe it.

The Commencement Exercise was at 7:00 PM for the Class of 2008 Moore High School. She had a long day. Her day started with a Senior Breakfast at 8:00 AM then a graduation rehearsal at 11:00 AM.

What a disappointment that after arriving to the Cox Center in downtown OKC that we had to sit in the nose bleed seats. Not good for pictures.

Our school leased a facility just to make the ceremony as memorable and comfortable as possible. Should I be complaining? Yes! I believe that at this time I should have had a front row seat, after all MY daughter was graduating!

As my daughter finally bids farewell to her school, I remember Angela & Jessica's graduation. Then Jay's graduation. I realize I am not done yet, Andrea & Adam.

I feel like I am graduating too as I watch her receiving her diploma. All our hard work and encouragement has paid off.

I have a daughter who will spread her wings and soar high to attain her goals.

I hug and thank her. I can’t believe my little girl is so grown up now.
